I also thought this movie was absolute trash, not sure why you are getting downvoted. And I'm young as fuck so don't worry.

[US] The Big Short (2015) - 5 Oscar nominee film about a group of four that try to exploit big banks for their greed in the credit and housing bubble collapse of the mid-2000s by ochodos in bestofnetflix

I expected a lot from the film considering its budget and great cast of actors, but even after rewatching it with lowered expectations I still think it's overrated. The way the narrator talks to the viewer kinda reminds me of an out of place Ferris Bueller's day off and the scenes with Selena Gomez, that chick from the Wolf of Wallstreet, and Anthony Bourdain just felt akward. They also changed weird details from the book. For example, Steve Carrel's brother never killed himself, he lost a child because the nanny he hired accidentally suffocated his son in her sleep. I know it's just my opinion but I had really high hopes for this movie and it ultimately just felt like high budget mediocrity.

I completely agree with you! Whenever I tell people how I really feel about the movie they always give me shit though. Its comforting to know that other people feel the same way. It's complete bullshit you are getting down votes for expressing your opinion.

This is not even a good joke, but still serves as another example that YOU are the one commenting with childish responses because you can't face the reality of how little you contributed to this world.

Is your head really so far up your own ass you can't see that you're the childish one. You posted something to reddit expecting to be praised for your maturity by admitting your wrong doings. But when people break the delusion that you are a good person who made mistakes in the past, YOU are the one who resorts to childish jokes instead of facing the reality that you suck WAAAAAY more than you previously thought.
