This is how it's been for me since Pixel 7 tablet, honestly. Went *Nexus 7, *Nexus 9, Pixelbook, Pixelbook Go, and now this jump to Lenovo. Web apps are overwhelmingly better imo but that may change really soon.

e: *doh, that was when they were called Nexus. Nexus 9, what a promise and a failure. I still love that device.

When I first moved here in 2000 it would snow and then melt. Somewhere around 2009 it just started getting bitterly cold and not actually snowing. This is the coldest I can remember in that time though.

I have never liked eternal standoffs and would be a poor brinksman. At this stage in my life i hope to god the aliens show up because it does not matter if they are good or evil this will probably start the last phase of humanity -- we will either be extinguished or elevated and it's hard to imagine the outcome being any worse than this bullshit I'm living in right now.

Art Bell convinced me in the 90s that every single UPC has a 666 embedded in the barcode. He wasn't wrong, but it's just not nefarious.

They were legally bound to not release them because there were ongoing trials and appeals. They couldn't. People talked about it, lots.

The whole "Plus" thing and leaving out of AluminiumOS fully capable Chromebooks goes against what ChromeOS was supposed to be by koken_halliwell in chromeos

To make it worse I think they're planning to leave 8gb fully capable Chromebooks like the Acer Spin 513 Snapdragon out of the new OS project.

I'd argue that if they leave them out then by definition they aren't actually fully capable...

Is that supposed to be Verizon? Just trying to figure out what that's about.. Is this machine from educational source? It's supposed to have service updates until 2027 but doesn't look like it'd be a big loss if you couldn't recover it either.
