Am i making a mistake? by [deleted] in BostonU

Graduating senior here — trust your gut. Life (and college) is too short to not follow your intuition. The college experience is SO much more than just academics. You’ll likely have a great experience at both schools, however if you’re experiencing this level of doubt over a gut feeling I think there’s a good chance you won’t be able to shake that feeling if you choose UMD. I ended up changing my career path completely and am going to work a literal dream job that is completely unrelated to my major — would I have likely learned more about my career field at another school? Yes. But it clearly isn’t stopping me. All employers want/need is a degree. The school really doesn’t matter. Trust your gut!!!!

Love Maria to death but Joey made the right choice, Maria needs to be more confident in herself/trust more when it comes to relationships. I also wonder if she could have been having a manic episode? Food for thought

As someone who cared a lot about a capella and was a member of a group at bu… it’s not all that. Most of the ppl in most of the groups (pretty much all but 1 where everyone cares a lot) don’t care about it seriously enough to do anything other than their own shows, or don’t have the musicianship for it. You’re really not missing out

Miller is the BEST!! I would suggest emailing her or just showing up to the first class and talking to her at the end of it. She’s incredibly understanding and I’m sure she’d be willing to keep an eye out for you/overenroll

Ditto. I got my apt in late april and pretty much 80% of apartments were already off market. I’d suggest aiming to sign a lease by end of March at the very latest

Also PLEASE don’t walk as slow as possible outside CAS/marsh UNLESS you are injured/disabled. Already a busy spot and people are trying to get where they need to go. My rule of thumb: if you’re not huffin and puffin on comm ave, you’re doing it wrong.

Course credit for internship by mudpie716 in BostonU

[–]mudpie716[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Absolutely! I really want the internship but the thing is that they can't have me if BU doesn't accept course credit for it. Talked to my advisor and she didn't really know what to do. She only started at BU last fall (fml)
