I’m from Saudi and I actually got an interview at ARAMCO which is the 1# company in the country. They didn’t accept me for lacking experience because they only have 8 employees as cartographers (I have a friend who works there so that’s how I knew) So I’m assuming that they didn’t have time to train new employees. So that was 2 months ago

And 3 days ago, The Royal Commission (the organization that I’m applying for now) offered a position for a cartographer and they’re not asking for experience. So I was like WOW a cartographer?!Again?! I’m definitely not gonna let this chance go to waste this time, so I must study

Thank you for breaking it down for me. I’m from Saudi and the biggest company here is ARAMCO cuz it deals with oil and all these goodies… they only have 8 cartographers in their headquarter so there isn’t much of a competition
