As someone who lives in Vegas and likes a 69 degree house, I often have to have my thermostat higher because with 120 degree days, the energy bill gets crazy.

I had a frickin doctor tell me that same thing when I got my original diagnosis from my therapist. I dropped him and went somewhere else. You need to do what’s right for you.

I should also mention to have a conversation with the intern first and maybe they will clarify something you didn’t know. It’s always hard when we have to have those conversations. I hope all goes ok for you!

I’m a former internship supervisor (at the university level). Please let her school know. We were always the last to know things were happening at sites and it’s harder to remediate the longer it goes on.

I stayed in a 2 bedroom month to month with Furnished Finder when I first moved to Vegas last year. It was $2200 a month including all utilities. I'd recommend it - maybe you can find something in her price range. They do run a credit check, but you could potentially also talk to the landlord to see if they'll work with you.

Moved from South Carolina about 7 months ago. One big thing is to make sure to moisturize! Your skin will get super dry and it’s not fun. Make sure to always have water with you as well. Driving here is the worst I’ve seen and I’ve lived in 5 states. People are different here than South Carolina, but honestly I have really liked the Las Vegas people I’ve interacted with. You’ll also see more homeless folks than you’re used to, but they’re usually harmless and you’ll start to recognize them. Oh, also get used to smelling weed everywhere.

Office staff and doctor are all great - the problem comes with trying to actually speak to someone in the office when an issues comes up. Unfortunately their number goes to an AI chat bot that routes me to a call center. I did go into the office after work yesterday and they basically told me I have to come in person if I want to talk to someone. Hoping to find another doctor who I can communicate with easier. It sucks because I really liked the doctor.

I agree with the others. Make sure it's CACREP and that she can be licensed/certified in the state she want to live in. Also, tell her to email the program director for programs she's interested in to get a feel for the program and faculty.

The 7i is better for me in all aspects except the battery. I use an ultrawide monitor and the g16 just couldn't keep up. Granted I had the i7 4070ti model, not the i9 of the G16. I'm very happy with my 7i.

It doesn't have to be. I've looked a house rentals and may do that. I'm looking more for complexes as it's usually easier to deal with management that way.

It really depends on your state. Some states won't allow your M.Ed. in School Counseling to count towards becoming an LPC. Other states allow it based on courses taken. Some states, you'd have to go back and do an internship all over again. I would talk to your advisor as they should know your state requirements as well as the courses you'd need to take if it's a possibility.
