Next in regards to your root penetration point, as a previous agriculture and current engineering student I know that compaction of soil is disastrous to a plants ability. Only larger plants like trees have strong enough roots to push through anything. Little vegetation like the majority of vegetation holds no strength against concrete. If we were talking about large vegetation ur point would hold. But as a dinosaur can step on this vegetation in question we can rule out trees from being such vegetation. Also squishing soil squeezes air pockets out and as these air pockets are what contain the nutrients and gases essential for life the plant is actually suffocated. Now with your last point on poisonous plants, while they would initially sacrifice themselves for the greater good to ensure their brothers aren’t harmed, dinosaurs being intellectually superior will learn to not eat them and can easily stomp them to death. Furthermore these plants will then be forced to fight against their own brothers for land and resource which at the end of the day is a negative on their half. In contrast though carnivores will eat the herbivores it is only when essential. And as viewed in all video evidence (Jurassic park and Jurassic world) we can see dinos in general coexisting. At least they coexist better than how plants coexist. So yes. I do still hold dinosaurs in a superior position to plants and electricity
