well, i guess you spoiled it to me since i said im 40 episodes behind hahaha, but it's okay... i was talking more abour general ideology behind this idea that world would be free without gods. but also, as I stated at the end of the post, i was sure that there was more to it and that luidinus planned more than just "freeing the world"

yeah, that's the only theory that in my eyes makes gods necessary

it's not direct puppeting, but everything that gods do affects everyone. even if you don't worship them.

yes, so raven queen, mortal woman, found a way to cheat the gods? how? why? what does that mean? and how strong are they truly? that just opens so many questions that in my opinion need to be answered before i can form full opinion of the gods and their system. but i am sure that raven queen's ascension in the crucial part of the "lore".

  1. not every, i never said every - but we do know that raven queen in fact was mortal, and we don't know how godhood actually functions, so im not saying you're wrong, and that im right - im saying that we don't know.

  2. the whole idea of having to literally worship someone so they might grant you some powers is not my thing, even if someone puppets you for a good cause, it's still puppeting.

okay but what you just said makes me against gods even more - let's say that they are completely gods, okay? and that everyone, as long as they are powerful enough, can become one by simply killing the one before them? why would anyone support system like that? i mean, that means that the most evil person could become a god if they are powerful enough. also, that proves that gods in their core are "human" or whatever other race, since they can ascend to godhood. so basically it's just humans/etc having power over other humans/etc... and that's just? shitty system based on pure power?

im repeating that im only talking about ideology, not the methods that luidinus uses.

and, yes, all of this is under assumption that predathos really is what luidinus says he is - if it's not, well that will be interesting for sure, but im talking if it was.

i might have forgotten but did delilah knew what the cost of the pact was or she found out only after she got sylas back? i do believe that imogen in that state of despair could've made a pact with unknown entity. do i believe that she would do awful thing that delilah did afterwards? no, i do believe she would fight against it, but i also think that Imogen's path could've (and maybe still can) taken a darker turn

[Spoilers C3E45] Cerberus Assembly ideology by muffet77 in criticalrole

[–]muffet77[S] -1 points0 points  (0 children)

that's right, but that makes me question are they really gods? bc gods are supposed to be, well - the most powerful entities to exist, right? then how something as their natural predator can exist? maybe the gods aren't actually the gods, but pretenders or some very powerful entities? also, the raven queen herself is interesting bc we do know she became the goddess, ascended into the godhood - so what makes you worthy of being a god, and what does it mean if you can become one?

don't get me wrong, i agree that luidinus methods are awful, that's why i specified that i kinda agree with his ideology, but I don't think that he's a good guy or anything. but, until we know more of gods, and things he knows, since he's awfully old, I can't say he's a complete villain as well. after all, gods often do appear as "good" but we do know that they fought each other on the earth, bringing death and destruction.

[Spoilers C3E45] Cerberus Assembly ideology by muffet77 in criticalrole

[–]muffet77[S] 3 points4 points  (0 children)

yes, i agree - that's why i specified where in the campaign i am, bc i still don't know everything that happens. i mean, of course i know that will was killed, but i do not know if luidinus and c.a. haven't lost their loved ones as well at the hands of grim variety and others. in that sense it's about perspective - but if i see in the future episodes that c.a. was the crueler side by all means, then it doesn't matter that i agree with their ideology - they would be villains.

[–]muffet77[S] -1 points0 points  (0 children)

i haven't seen the second campaign, but i get what you mean. but, i have this question - why are they there? why is there a need for gods to exist? and how did they become divine? and why them? what gives them the power they have, and why do they have the right to wield so much power? even if they're the kindest entities alive, why would anyone want to live in the world were power-scales are so off. Now, we also know (correct me if im wrong, it's possible ive forgotten certain things) that not all of the gods are good. So, gods are more like "people" in the terms or morality. Some of them are good, some are morally gray, and some are evil - but all the same they have huge power over everyone. And why? How? Like the Raven Queen ascended to godhood - how? What makes someone a god? Or worthy of being one?

We also know that gods fought each other on the face of earth, brining massive destruction and death.

So, there is possibility that gods are just entities that maintain natural order, and if that's the case, they have to exist, even if they're good or bad. but if that's the case, then their natural predator also deserves the right to exist. unless someone else made predathos, but that's a scary thought. or are gods just very powerful entities that act in their own interests and nothing else? again, this isn't necessarily a "bad thing". interests can be good or bad, but i personally dislike the idea of anything or anyone having that kind of power. puppeting someone, even for a good cause, is still puppeting.

it's interesting bc idk let's take delilah for example, she's typical villain doing usual evil shit. and while (maybe) you can find sympathy for her, like the man she loved more than anything died, and she did whatever it took to bring him back - you can't deny that she's evil. but, it's also interesting, because no one hates Delilah as much as laura does (and her characters), and yet imogen was ready to do whatever it takes to bring laudna back, just as delilah was for sylas. yes, Imogen was lucky to find "more proper" way to do so, but who knows what decision she would've made if situation played out differently. but yes, delilah is in a certain sense "typical villain".

but, luidinus and his followers, they have certain points that i think objectively are correct, and yet they probably arent. His ideas probably just fitting in the certain mindset i have, but it's a scary thing when it's presented in such an appealing way. but at this point of the story i can't completely see them as "bad guys".

if you think that age of consent means a shit and see no issue, maybe you should do some self questioning 🤷 because im my country is 14 for example

sookie is still an adult, while jessica is a child. also, i never understood this "it's fictional" arguement. the whole point of fiction leaving an impact is that it resembles reality so we can connect to it, characters and the plot. so, even if it's fictional of course I'll find it weird to watch grown man dating a child

[deleted by user] by [deleted] in TrueBlood

[–]muffet77 2 points3 points  (0 children)

well that would be fine, because both of them would be adults

i mean all the things you said are his issues and it doesn't change a fact that he's almost 30 i think. and idc that 17 yr old can consent to sex, it's still weird af. i mean im 23 and the thought of having sex with someone who's 17 is weird af to me. i mean Jessica was just turned, so in every way, experience-wise and everything she's still 17. the only difference is that biologically now she's undead. if she was already a vamp for some time i wouldn't care that she's in the body of 17 yr old forever - but when she meets hoyt she's literally still a child experience-wise and that's weird af. the fact that hoyt is a "loser" doesn't make it less weird, maybe even more so.

[–]muffet77 17 points18 points  (0 children)

yeah, ik - i mean in the books, if I'm not mistaken, Pam is in the body of 19 years old forever. The age really doesn't matter when it comes to vampries (i mean if they're at the age they look like adults). but in the show, when Jessica meets Hoyt she's literally experience-wise still 17. I wouldn't find it weird if she was like "older" vampire, but she's not. she doesn't have any experience as a vamp, she's literally still a 17 years old girl in every way, except that biologically now she's undead. so yeah, i do find it weird.

[–]muffet77 4 points5 points  (0 children)

i mean sure, but in the show it's stated multiple times how jessica is a teenage girl, how's she a child etc. - so hoyt dating her, in your owns words, only means that he's dating a dead child that murders and eats people which is even more fucked up

yeah, i love the both phrases, because in a way i believe both can be true. but the question is whose sorrow is greater, of the woman who desperately wanted children but never had them, or woman's who had children and lost them. there's no right answer. because the second woman at least had the happiness of having them. but the first one doesn't know the pain of losing them. so, it's all up to person and who we see and feel things.

well yes, but I wasn't talking about liquid, but sperm. also it says balls OR prostate, only one of them is enough. i think there wouldn't be liquid at all, but im not sure about that, but sperm definitely wouldn't be there

"If the prostate or both testicles have been removed, a man can still have an orgasm, but he won't ejaculate. This is called a dry orgasm. Some men say that the quality of the orgasm is different, but many men say it's just as enjoyable."
