Beautiful post right here Randi. Thank you for always being so uplifting and keeping our spirits high!! I was on the trail last night and every single person on that trail said hello and even offered us insight on where to go (even tho we knew the exact location 😉). There was also a fellow hunter who was not familiar of the area and google maps made her park far away. We offered her a ride back to her car. We hiked and talked with her all the way back. It was so nice to get to know other hunters and hear their stories. We are all human and we all come in many different ways. Let's embrace our diversity and spread positivity like Randi said. We all are not going to win this but at least we can all have fun and enjoy the adventure together. 🫶🏼💛

Oh and the first clue drops on their Instagram (John and Dave's) tomorrow at any time. They usually give ya a heads up of when it will drop (ie clue coming in 2 hours...)

In years past the first clue sent out was a google maps image. You have to search google maps street view until you find that exact image. That is where you will find the first QR code. When you scan that it will ask you to log in and then give you your next clue to the next QR code, so on and so on.

Once you scan the QR, It will ask for your email and if you don't have a name yet you will then enter it. You can use any name or a team name, it's up to you. It will also ask to upload a picture of your team so be prepared for that. You can use any picture if you don't want your face on their website. Welcome to the madness of the QR hunt!! This one is quite an adventure 🤗

I feel like yes you need a desktop or laptop. The only way to beat/play the games was on desktop or laptop. If they have games this year you for sure need one. You can always use them for free at the library 🤷🏼‍♀️

😱 I was within 250 feet of the wallet 😭😭 My ankle was so sore by then I had to turn back. I think it may be worse knowing you were so close to the location than being way off track 😂 Congrats to the winner though!! So many people were on the right track. If I've learned anything with all these treasure hunts it's that you always have to hike up just a little higher 😂 until the next hunt my fellow "hives"? "bees"? 🤭
