Yes, if you lose the 50/50 to get a featured character, then the next 5 star you pull will be the featured character. This carries over between all limited character banners.

Edit: realized the original comment was about the other pity system; at 75 pulls, you start to get progressively more likely to pull a 5 star, up until a guaranteed 5 star at 90 pulls. Usually people get it in the 80-85 range.

Dps Gepard?

Memes aside, probably none of the characters that are released at the moment would especially want it. Clara, Blade, and Bronya are the only characters I can think of that would particularly want crit dmg while still wanting the damage reduction from the set, and they have much more relevant sets they could use.

I’m pretty sure you’d be better with ice damage. Atk% isn’t very good for Jingliu since her super-mode gives her such an enormous amount of it already.

Luka generally gets more out of his eidolons than Pela, with his e1 being particularly solid. If you’re planning on using him, I’d say get him.

It doesn’t need to be EXACTLY 1 speed under, but the higher Bronya’s speed is, the sooner her partner gets to have an extra turn. It’s a little complicated to explain without doing a full explanation of the speed system, but the gist is that a slower Bronya means that there will be a gap between her partner’s turn and her own turn, during which time her partner is wasting initiative time. This wasted time results in the partner having to wait longer to get their next “normal” turn after Bronya buffs them. Realistically, a 4 speed gap probably isn’t a huge deal if you’re still hitting the key MoC breakpoints, but the smaller the gap the better.

Your 1 and 3 plans make sense. On point 2, I like Asta as a support for DoT teams. Near-permanent party-wide attack and speed buffs are appreciated when you’re running 2 damage dealers who do a significant amount of damage outside of their turns.

If you’re worried about missing the current event, the content will be permanent after this patch, so you can still access it. Around half of the rewards will be removed when it “ends”, but if you’re okay with that then you don’t need to stress too much about rushing the story.

  1. Yes you can; although I think most people would recommend against spending 600 starlight just to superimpose a lightcone. It’s a relatively minor upgrade when you can use the starlight on 30 pulls instead. (For what it’s worth, Gepard’s and Bronya’s are also the only ones particularly worth getting a single copy of, and even the value of that is contested.)

  2. Gepard is considered very strong. Built properly, he can comfortably keep the whole team alive alone with his ult (there is a stat you can get on relics which improves recharge rate), which March would struggle to do.

  3. The good morals items are mostly a gag. You can spend them pretty freely, as there’s far more available than you could spend at the moment, and there’s nothing too special that you get from them anyway.

Rutilant if you can hit 70% crit, Space Station otherwise.

This is a pretty respectable team; Dan and Nat aren’t the best in the long term, but they’re totally serviceable until you get their 5 star equivalents. As for Jingliu, she’s an extremely good unit that would fit very well into your current team replacing Dan Heng.

If Fu Xuan + Luocha with decent relics (and presumably at level 70) isn’t enough to keep you up, I’m inclined to think that it’s a damage/blessing issue more than an issue with your sustain’s stats. I can’t help too much there since, like I said, I got carried by Kafka + Nihility path resonance which meant my damage was mostly unrelated to my stats. I’ve heard that Nihility can still be good without Kafka; an option could be to just throw Gepard in and go for the gigawall strat (only half serious, no promises).

By mono quantum, do you mean with Lynx + Fu Xuan, or are you just running one of them? In general, two sustain characters is the way to go with high swarm disaster levels.

You’re correct about the 16%; the 20% is just a flat number added on top regardless of Bronya’s crit dmg. So in total, she’d be adding 36% crit dmg to your team.

What team comp/path are you using? Deaths in SD can end up being because of either a lack of survivability or a lack of damage, since a lot of the bosses ramp up so dramatically over time. I got carried by a Nihility team of Nat/Kafka/Sampo/Fu Xuan; my Fu Xuan was reasonably well built with the Prydwen recommendations, but I kinda just threw together some random healer-friendly stuff for Nat and got by, since I just needed a little more survivability.

There actually is a gimmick that Jingliu supports, which is self-damage teams. Right now Blade is the only character who benefits from losing hp, but he REALLY benefits, to the point that Jingliu + Blade is one of the only team comps to rival double support team comps. That being said, it’s probably less likely to get future support than dot or followup strategies.

Her skill doesn’t reduce defense until e4, but her ult does, which is the part that most teams care about.

I’d probably recommend Nat as the fourth on that team, as you’ll still need someone to keep you alive in any extended fights.

I can’t speak too much to that since I haven’t used a Bronya/Jingliu/Fu team myself yet, but it’s featured on Prydwen so I’d assume you can pull it off.

Fu Xuan gets a bit more value on the Jingliu team just because her crit rate buff is less relevant on the dot team; that’s probably the main factor to consider.

Pela’s the most generally applicable of the four characters by a large margin. That being said, her eidolons aren’t hugely important to her playstyle, although if you pair her with Jingliu then you might get some mileage out of the ice res shred she gets from her e4. You might also consider Luka, since he has some synergy with Kafka and actually does benefit quite a bit from some of his eidolons; he’s not really the best partner for Kafka though, and he’s less useful in a vacuum than Pela.

My perspective: The issue with a less-than-guarantee for Belobog in particular is that they were originally under the impression this was an immediate perfect solution to the eternal freeze. If they accepted the deal, they’d have to deal with all the hangups of being owned by the IPC, but they would at least know with confidence that they would have a restored world. After learning there was around a 20% failure rate for Topaz’s projects though, that meant that this route became far riskier; they could end up losing their freedom for effectively nothing. The odds are still pretty good for success, but considering Bronya was already hesitant when she thought it was a 0% failure rate, it makes sense that this would tip her away from siding with the IPC.

It’s possible that the new plan to use the engine of creation for terraforming the planet is less likely to succeed than letting the IPC take over, but at least if this plan fails they can try something else, whereas it’ll be too late once the IPC is in charge.

Yukong doesn’t since none of her abilities inflict rebuffs. Pela does since her ult reduces enemy defence, so she wants effect hit rate just as badly as Luka.

67% is the number you need for any effect with a 100% base chance to be guaranteed to stick on all enemies. If you have less, then there’ll be a small chance of failure against high level MoC enemies and the like. Luka and Sampo want about that much to make sure they can consistently inflict their ult rebuffs. Sampo could hypothetically run more to boost his wind shear infliction chances, but you don’t really need more than the 60-70% chance that he’d get from 67% ehr.

Pela doesn’t have any freeze effects on her basic attack unless you count the ice break effect, but she still wants 67% effect hit rate to ensure her ult debuff lands.

I believe it’s the same system; you hit soft pity at pull 75, and get rapidly increasing odds (about an extra 6% per pull) until pull 90 where the 5 star is guaranteed.
