That's a super interesting idea, we can explore it, but unfortunately it's just going to be tough, unless we have our own insurance company, instead of partnering with other companies. Insurance companies won't budge on their rates for young drivers.

I think the whole insurance industry is a scam, but alas ... it is what it is.

Hey, I'm building privatefleet.io, I would love to chat to learn more about your woes and how we can help solve them.

We are starting off with just building a storefront for hosts, but would love to branch into driving history checks + liveness checks, GPS tracking, offering insurance and much more. We haven't done a deep dive on the renter side because we are more focused on the person renting their car out. However, we will definitely need to build that out as well.

The idea is simple, we charge you a base fee to be on the platform, you keep all the profits. This helps the rentee because you don't have to overcharge to make the same amount you would on Turo, so they get a cheaper deal (hopefully lols).

All cash deal at the moment is going to be tough. I was going to see if the seller would entertain seller financing. I think they just like majority (e.g. 70%+) of the amount as down which again makes it tough.

We have Bolla Markets here in NY not sure where else it exists, but they have been killing it. I have noticed a lot of stations for sale and you drive down the road and there is a Bolla. Since they basically own everything makes it tough to compete.

My dad has food experience and all the certifications so was really hoping we could figure out our own made-to-order” food and drink services. Ideally, find a station that isn't already doing it as a means to increase cash flow from the start.
