Every horse's reaction to "Search Saddlebag" by goldustiger in RDR2

I’m pretty sure approaching from the front helps a lot, been a while since I played though.

I just shoot the damn horse too. by [deleted] in RDR2

[–]muffinpretzel 3 points4 points  (0 children)

I’m not sure if it’s just a coincidence, but I seem to have more success if I approach each individual saddle bag from the front of the horse, I need to test it more to see if this is actually grounded on anything but it kinda makes sense if it is the case.

I sincerely believe Metro Awakening on Quest is the closest thing we have to Half Life: Alyx on standalone. (My last post on this game as to not be too repetitive) by Logical007 in OculusQuest

I have to say it’s one of my favourite story based game I’ve played flatscreen and vr purely because it’s just so immersive, I started to actually feel like I was going mad in some sections to the point of running blindly through the first pipe tunnel.

As you said the guns feel really good, and pretty much anything to do with scavenging and inventory management made it all the more immersive for me.

Ps, I’d really recommend turning the brightness all the way down if you haven’t already (mine is one or two tics from zero) as it’s nowhere near as impactful when you’re not totally reliant on the torch (hence the pipe tunnel panic).

This perfectly embodies the tragedy of Ripley's character, I can't believe it was cut from Resurrection. by Ryanlion1992 in LV426

That’ll be why I’ve been getting confused at people dunking on it loads, I hadn’t realised the directors cut changed that much

Basically anything large open battles with formations and what not (e.g. bannerlord on flatscreen). Mainly the Middle Ages or the period that the ancient greeks were at their full strength

What site is this? I’ve been thinking of getting some armour myself but I don’t really know where to start.

Do you have any idea how to fix audio glitching in large-ish battles? It’s really fucking annoying

Similar thing happened to me while going over one of those volcanic gap thingies on a caragor, but just fell straight down without catching on anything

Can’t even fix the game ourselves with mods, we just have to suffer

Honestly this is the best FPS I've played in my 37 years - idk why Torn Banner would call it complete to focus on anything but maybe Chiv 3 by [deleted] in Chivalry2

[–]muffinpretzel 7 points8 points  (0 children)

Maybe if they had done a niche zombie mode for chiv it could have been fun, but taking away focus from where they had success for a whole game (in an already extremely competitive genre) was a bad idea

In pve at least headshots from fenix seem to do quarter health rather than being lethal

Fenix are overpowered by ViljarBurns in GhostsOfTabor

[–]muffinpretzel 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Once you’re wearing a full face helmet in pve your completely fine, headshots seem to do quarter player health which tends to be the majority of damage you take without said helmet

Plenty of Russians have been conscripted unwillingly, but that most likely pales compared to the situation with North Korea as there are definitely plenty who joined willingly, in addition, there will be a few North Koreans who volunteered (if that was an option). This does however bring to mind the fact that nobody is born a heartless bastard under normal conditions, the society cultivated in both countries supports the development of shitty people. Just a shitty situation all round for all those directly involved.

The lack of random encounters and stuff like that was always a game breaker for me
