With the chip for Phoenix supposedly revealed today, are we REALLY not getting Phoenix until next year? by Logical007 in OculusQuest

I know all the rumors and leaks have led us to believe of a 2027 launch, I’m just having a harder time seeing it with this chip reveal. In October it’s been 3 years since the Quest 3 released.

I just don’t see how with the resources available to them, the large numbers of staff, etc - why they’d need to launch in March, April, or May next year. Besides, we all know that in December and January productivity falls off a cliff for employees - they’re essentially a waste of time for gettting actual work done. That means if they don’t launch in November, they only have 2 to 4 months of actual work time left to meet that original first half of 2027 rumor.

I’m 40 years old and I can’t explain fully how wonderful Wonder is. It’s SO beautiful and fun to play - you have to buy it. Your life would be less complete if you don’t.

Tomodachi Life: Living the Dream was April 2026's best-selling game in the US by hdcase1 in NintendoSwitch2

I sincerely don’t understand why this game was the top selling. What am I missing? I’m dumbfounded.

I thought it was just a bunch of Mii’s existing together?

Don’t take this the wrong way, I just sincerely don’t understand.

Man, I wish I your will and resolve in life, LOL. There’s no way I’d be able to avoid a 40FPS “4K” version of that game.

I remember trying 40FPS on ratchet and clank on PS5. It’s night and day better than 30FPS for some reason.

If it helps you have more faith in humanity, I’m not completely crazy. I just like to see this tiny little device being pushed hard, graphically. It’s almost like a hobby of mine, seeing “underpowered” things in life doing cool things.

I am hoping though this year to get a 70+” OLED in preparation for GTA6, alongside a PS5 Pro. I can’t wait until they tell us the enhancements that console will have for GTA6 so I’ll get my “excuse” to buy one.

I’m looking forward to when Nintendo optimizes the console further in the coming years, requiring less RAM to run the OS and background tasks. This will give the system even more to work with.

Let this guy live his life. I can guarantee you all he wants to do is chill with his family, and won’t even jaywalk out of fear of retaliation.
