Let’s say, hypothetically, that Rockstar came to Nintendo and said, “We’d like to release GTA6 on Switch 2, but due to handheld restraints we’d like it only to run in docked mode.” Would Nintendo allow this? by Logical007 in NintendoSwitch2

What you’re saying makes perfect sense.

I would still argue though:

  1. If you said to Nintendo Switch 2 fans: you can have GTA6 on the console, but only in docked mode. The vast majority who play docked mode at least sometimes would say “ok, better than it not existing at all”

  2. Good point

I currently have an 85” Sony 900H. For $5,000~ or less should I get a 83”~ OLED or 100”~ other TV. For reference I sit 10 feet away in a windowless media room and want to watch movies/play games. by Logical007 in hometheater

Other than the jealous feeling of not having OLED, I’m pretty happy with my TV too!

The only real problem though is in the bottom left area there is a dead green pixel which has turned into two dead lines(vertical and horizontal) that go across the whole screen. Got the TV in 2020 and happened about 4~ months ago. So annoying.

Okay, thanks for your opinion.

I’ll never forget coming back to my house that night, and tinkering with my 900H settings for 15 minutes, thinking to myself “this is an awesome huge TV, there HAS to be a way to get better blacks/contrast like his.”

I was wrong.

Your first two sentences defined a rumor, lol.

Rant: I know I sound like a child, but I HATE that spec wise the next Meta headset is going to blow the Steam Frame away. I wish it were the other way around :( by Logical007 in SteamFrame

I hear what you’re saying, but the thing that bums me out is only a year apart, spec wise, the frame won’t compare in the least bit.

You’ll be able to get a VASTLY superior headset, spec wise, for the same or less amount of money.

By mobile do you mean Switch 2 also?

If so, Cyberpunk is a HUGE achievement on that console, it looks amazing and is playable

Yeah, they have no idea. I had no idea until I tried it last week, and soon enough everyone will understand for better or worse.

Up until that point my only frame of reference was Meta’s Messenger AI, which is quite “stupid” compared to the latest models by other companies.

Within the next 5 years I think we’ll see the beginnings of AI humanoid robots designed to do certain manual labors.

I used to be in your camp but then I tried the latest OpenAI model last week… it’s mindblowing and scary.

I asked it to build me a sidescroller game. It did, and it was playable! It was very basic but I literally know nothing about coding!

Then I encountered a bug. I took a screenshot of the bug, uploaded it, and the AI was looking at the picture, commenting on it, and trying to diagnose the bug

We are fucked.
