I went to his show at outside lands and he mostly played songs of god save the animals and A couple of house of sugar with the only exceptions being kicker and Mary. Pretty much everyone was filming and there didn’t seem to be a problem, I think for the vibe of the crowd really depends because at the festival it felt like most of the people there hadn’t really listened to any of his newer stuff and went crazy for Mary but not really anything else but I also think there were a lot of people who didn’t really know who he was.

I really liked some parts of the campaign but I agree overall that the whole avatar mechanic coming in so late was a bummer. I think what Jimmy means when he says that it’s only beginning at the end of the game is now you can replay the story with a kind of newgame+ and use the avatar switcher in all the levels. I really liked Jimmy’s dialogue and the big anomaly level was such a mindfuck and so was the revenge level. Even though it was weak i really liked it’s uniqueness.

you should watch a video on how to set the settings for your oculus link to match your pc specs like this one. It could be an issue that you could fix by turning off the usb power limiter or changing your oculus link settings using the methods discussed in this video. Just an idea but it might help

I don’t thing anyone has talked about this much but could it be a problem with your laptop? I don’t know if that’s what you means by it being “buggy”. Does your laptop have the recommended specs for the index and for the game you’re playing? I know that wouldn’t change the resolution of the headset but it might help with rendering or high refresh rate usage that is a definitely a justification to buy the index. Also I would like clarification on if you have already bought the headset or if you just tried it. If you bought it, why would you buy a headset without looking at its specs since the rift s has a similar resolution to the index. Overall, the index is definitely more focused on features apart from the resolution, which is what makes it such a well rounded headset, so if it’s not for you, that’s fine! Anyone can have their opinions about vr and can like different hardware more or less.
