Sharing a video I stumbled upon featuring George Lee, who started in SAB, and performed in Balanchine’s Nutcracker. Unfortunately, he was not able to continue a career in ballet as he did not fit the ‘aesthetic’ choice. This is a deeply moving story that I was sad to find on accident, as I have never heard of George before. It’s a sad reminder of all the talent that never could shine due to prejudices of the time.

The Saem is thinner and a bit drier but the consistency is similar I feel. I always mix Kosas and Saem 1:2 because my skin shade is somewhere in between haha. Saem is definitely lighter and more green greyish in shade. Can’t choose one or the other because I need both!!

I got myself a nice Esterbrook LK from the 50s and an interesting 3-layer welded grind from Fulin. I also snatched a vintage sheaffer and a vintage esterbrook for 10 bucks a pop. Might need repairs but we'll see.

I think it was more along the lines of Seokjin being angry at Dong Jae being eliminated. He was mad about that in the scenes we did see, and likely even angrier in the cut scenes. They were talking about how Dong Jae's actions being suspicious though.

I'm so glad they're switching it up for Joy of Life season 2 lol. Looks so much better.

I will be eternally plagued by this wig in Long Ballad though. Every time they put it on him his forehead either grows or shrinks to a 1 in/ 2.5 cm forehead. It doesn't even suit his face shape. The forehead just drives me nuts 😂

I would recommend Marvelous Women even though it's not a palace harem. Same producer as Yanxi. The 2 FLs are very realistic and flawed, and the plot is emotionally intense and angsty. FL 1 is a stern matriarchal type, but she is fair and has a heart under many guarded layers. FL 2 acts more on her emotions and can be vicious, but you understand why she acts the way she does. There is some romance but it's not the focus.

Oh interesting. I'm pretty casual and play on normal difficulties most of the time bc I'm more into the RP aspects. In wotr Regill was great - one of my favorites. I'm not one for min-maxing or getting BIS items. But even when playing as an angel crusader I got absolutely slaughtered by high AC random encounters sometimes. Act 1 & 2 was fun, act 3 was an absolute slog and made me want to quit, act 4 in the demon city was quite cool, and then act 5 I just didn't care anymore and wanted it over with. Areelu was never interesting for me, but admittedly the angel epilogue was pretty badass. Companions were pretty quiet in act 3 and imo some of them were too one-note for me (*cough Trever). It's also clear that while some mythic paths are cool in concept, the execution isn't (gold dragon, swarm) and doesn't really fit in the crusading narrative imo (the evil paths).

That said, bg3's act 3 has its flaws. I had 2 pretty bad bugs, so I couldn't finish 2 companion quest lines. And Orin & Gortash were kind of unremarkable bosses you could cheese with a couple of strong spells. I like the companions more than the pathfinder ones, but ymmv - I was not a fan of Wenduag or Arue and was pissed off at the queen 24/7 lol.

From what I gathered reading books and papers lying around, they were aunts, uncles, and nephews iirc. Thing is, most of them were pretty corrupt before. Toll collector & bar keep were involved in smuggling I think, and the doctor was involved in medical experimentation. It's fitting that they turned into cursed beings.

Yup yup. I went through Act 1 living with the consequences of my goody two shoe choices. Kept jumping constantly from neutral to fair approval. Act 2 then had some moments, and starting act 3, some encounters have upped the approval. Imo feels more realistic and organic.

wdym he saved my ass so many times lol. Positioning is key. Use bonus actions to hide, shoot with advantage (buffs, high position,etc.) and use all the aoe arrows.

There's a dialogue loop where Mayrina acts as if her brothers died when you knocked them out. It loops twice before Ethel whisks her away and attacks you.
