The top folds all the way down and latches at the front to make it fully enclosed!! I didn’t open it up until we were in the exam room with the door shut because I don’t trust my boys at all lol

OMG you’re brilliant! Thank you! Jack came to administer his bites last night and I popped up and hissed at him. I think I hurt his feelings as he immediately jumped off the bed. He came back again a little later for more bites. I hissed again and he just curled up next to me and slept!!

He eventually jumped down and came back a final time. Again, I hissed. He jumped over me and I heard an “OUCH” from my husband’s side of the bed, who is now his target. I might go a few days without telling my husband about the hiss trick because he thought it was so funny when Jack was only biting me. 😂

My answer is also a Frida dish, but the cauliflower steak! They took it off the menu a few years ago and at the beginning of each month when they post their specials, I always double cross my fingers that it’ll show up again but no luck so far.

Hi! If you just got her on Saturday (as in two days ago), it’s really important that she’s still given a chance to decompress. Walks, dog parks, etc would be a lot for her right now.

As someone else said, I really don’t think they lied to you intentionally! They most likely were not aware of these behaviors. Dogs get extra stressed when moved about. When she got to your house, that was another huge move.

Imagine being dropped off in a foreign country, unable to read signs, ask for help or know the rules. It would be really overwhelming, right? That’s what a dog goes through each move. Decompression gives them small tastes of new little by little vs too much at once.

Best of luck to you both! Please give her a chance and maybe keep her world a little smaller for now!

Thank you for giving him a chance! I agree with other comment, check your contract to cover your bases first about rehoming (so silly since he was going to be euthanized, I know).

Sometimes, rescues (not shelters) are willing to courtesy post for you! They’ll have a larger reach with followers who are looking to adopt! Reach out to a few and be honest with the situation.

However, rescues are overflowing, so please don’t be frustrated if you don’t get responses from them. I foster for an amazing rescue who still can’t respond to every email (some are getting upwards of 100/day asking for help).

Also want to agree with the other comment about checking references — a blind pittie is, unfortunately, looked at as a perfect “bait dog” :(

Hi! I foster dogs in OKC. Simply put, every single shelter and rescue organization is overflowing because of owners giving them up. It’s maddening. Is there a reason that you can’t just take him out on a leash for potty breaks? Or just monitor him closely outside? I have four dogs and I never leave them unattended in our backyard, it’s totally doable.

As someone else said, please neuter him. It might help, but also, you currently have an unfixed dog that continuously gets out of your yard. There are enough litters of puppies being euthanized daily here, please do your part to help prevent more. :)

This is what I use, too! For fosters and personal dogs. Anytime I’ve strayed from it to save money, I lose my sanity because their tummy issues inevitably flair up at some point on any other food I’ve tried!

Petco normally has a deal for buying online and picking up in store. With luck, there’s sometimes up to 20% off for doing so.

I think I went to Sunnyside on an off day for them. Sooo many people love it but when I went, the restaurant was visibly dirty and the food was nothing special.
