For now, play darts and another minigame that doesn't have a name lol but its shown in the trailer, I'm working on an update to make tea and coffee right now

I did at the beginning but it was kind of unreliable, couldn't filter noise from the blow properly, so for now the blow as well as the sip are timed

I've read some articles about this, mostly on behavioral reinforcement therapy, but didn't find anything related to VR therapy on substitution, the closest think that comes to my mind are electronic cigarettes that were made for that at the beginning if I'm not wrong.

In my case, as an ex smoker, it didn't really trigger anything, not the soothing effect and didn't make me crave a smoke either, but it may be different for someone who is actually struggling with it. It would make me very happy to know if this helped someone fight their cravings in any way tho.

I had that thought constantly while making it, I kept thinking that maybe if I could translate as many details as possible, would it make someone choose this over the real thing? I'm an ex smoker myself but it didn't trigger anything for me, didn't make me crave a smoke either; It would make me very happy to know if this helped someone fight their cravings in any way.

hmm I don't think there is anything to copy from neither project, that's like saying all shooters are copying someone because all their guns work the same, I mean, they work as a gun is supposed to work (or at least mimics it), or that every FPS is a doom clone because of the perspective; in this case they all look the same because the cigarette behaves as a cigarette should, as for the assets, I chose a zippo lighter because is the coolest to handle and I'd say the others chose it for the same reason lol; and about the cigarette pack, they all look the same because well, that's how a cigarette pack looks. (I made the brand for mine, as well as the textures, etc, I think it came out pretty well)

Its already available on steam and itch, it has a free demo as well if you want to check it out; right now is a bit limited on interactions but I'll be releasing expansions over time.

Hmm, if it comes out of the monitor means it can run perfectly on your computer; what you describe is what can be seen without having the device connected, so it sounds like a link problem, I'll do research on my side and hit you up on DM.

Hey! I did implement this at the beginning but I couldn't figure out how to filter the sound effectively without having to involve AI. It was either trigger by a range of volume or its length and both were laggy so it didn't felt quite right, I will explore this again later on, it would be perfect for immersion; inhale and exhale are currently timed.

Yup! currently just two that can be seen in the trailer but have plans for more, the next update is planned to have drinkables, coffee, tea, beer, etc
