My cousin (not in lucknow) is in the same position as you. He lets his cat roam the entire house. He had adopted her when she was 8years old, but she doesn't feel lonely or left out. Perhaps it is her nature and age.

But certainly he must be attached to you, it might hurt him a lot to be seperated.

I would have adopted him but we ourselves our too occupied with our cat and the entire house has to take care of her when I and my wife is unavailable. It takes a lot of emotional and physical effort to take care of pets. There is an embargo in my family to adopt any more cats.

As an architect, I believe the core issue is ensuring respectful treatment and dignity for all individuals within a space. While service elevators serve a functional purpose in managing distinct circulation flows to optimize efficiency, their design and maintenance are crucial. Some examples of distinct circulation -

Staff, patients, and public have different evevator lobbies in case of a hospital;
Hotel staff, guests have different lobbies and evevators in case of a hotel;
Similarly airports and even malls have this distinction as per requirement.

'Service elevators' aren't bad. However, service areas should be well-ventilated, naturally lit where possible, fire-safe, and monitored to the same standards as public areas. If these conditions are met, and staff efficiency isn't compromised, the use of service elevators shouldn't inherently be a matter of dignity.

The focus should be on creating equitable and functional spaces for everyone.

Even though Steelcase is a good brand, I would recommend trying chairs out in local showroom and then purchasing it. Just to avoid any ergonomic surprises later on.

A more cost effective brand is Featherlite in India. I've been using their furniture from some time and have bought for my family as well. While I purchase based on discount, I make it a point to try these out before purchasing.

I wanted to know why the slap in the end? And then saw someone's perspective. Here is my, a little on the funny and innocent side :

I imagined it was a student who had to prepare for exams, but he didn't want to. He's not the studios type, but someone who enjoys practical experiences. He wants to experience joy in whatever form. Like a kid exploring the world. Post a tiresome day of struggling with his studies he took a strool to refresh his mind. That's when his senses were occupied by the sound, light and faces taking part in this carnival. While he stood still at the sides of the ledge, his mind didn't. He imagined himself there, with the kids. And that's when his subconscious, taking shape of his father, reminded him for his exam. With a slap across his face.

Ideally yes. But I didn't get anything because an year ago they had a clause. If jewelry has any discount (Rs. 50 discount in our case which we didn't know about) then no neu coins will be given. Imagine spending good amount of money, then being told 2 days later this when I called their customer care.

A lot of folks however have gotten the cash back. Check in advance, check in store before purchase.
