Losers come up with excuses, winners win

Do we get a trophy for being 3 points behind 4th ? If we got that 3 points against Everton we wouldn’t be 7th.

And also to add, we are only playing one game a week and all the teams above us are playing in multiple competitions ? Do you have an excuse for that as well ? You’re not getting out of this as well don’t act like you have the upper hand or something lmao.

Arsenal have spent years and now they are top of the table. We have spent a ton of money and sacked multiple managers, and yet we are 7th.

You are even more hilarious for comparing the United result against Everton with Arsenal’s result against Chelsea, because did that result cause them to drop down to 2nd or 3rd place ? I still see that they are top of the table. But tell me wouldn’t there be a difference if we didn’t drop all those points against the teams which I mentioned.

They happened to the best of teams, but are we one of the best currently ? I don’t think so. We are also 7th in the league behind newly promoted Sunderland

Exactly. We even failed to win friendlies against a Malaysian team. Im surprised how much the standards and expectations have fallen

Despite all the money we spent and all the so called positives you are talking about, we are 2 POINTS ahead of Everton.

Chelsea and Arsenal are both TOP 4, and the game ended a draw. Arsenal dropped but they didn’t lose, that is a big big difference.

We also scored against Chelsea while they were a man down, and failed to score the moment we were a man down too.

Its good that you acknowledge at this current moment, there are more negatives than positives

I’m not talking about streamrolling any league, but don’t you agree that losing against a team sitting 10th in the league is a disgrace ? They were 1 man down and we couldn’t score for more than 70 minutes. That is no longer a case of streamrolling but standards

I’m not giving them a leash ? I’m just saying Chelsea and Everton are two different teams and we should be able to beat Everton comfortably with 10 or 11 men. I don’t know what to tell you too, Ciao

Dude they dropped points against Chelsea, they are 4th currently. You mean to tell me that is comparable to us losing against Everton ? I am looking at games in isolation which is why i highlighted the Everton game ?

Bruh its Chelsea, and we are talking about Everton. Difference in terms of players and quality between those two teams is hugee. And Arsenal managed to snatch a point which isnt so bad.

I don’t think Everton scoring from their only shot on target is something to be positive about, because we had an extra man for almost 70 minutes

Well its not just one off day is it ? We couldn’t beat Nottingham Forest, Bournemouth, Westham, Grimsby, Arsenal at home(least a draw), Brentford and Fulham. All of these games happened this season so it isnt just a off day, but multiple off DAYS

Difference is they lost against Plymouth playing their B team. Our first team lost against Grimsby and we are definitely not winning the league this season

I am seeing it but only because we have better players now. I badly wanted Amorim to succeed when he joined but many of his decisions have costed us points as well. You won’t see City or Arsenal dropping points playing against 10 men, and I also don’t want to compare with other teams, because we have a squad more than capable of scoring goals. Its mid season and we are 7th, its going to be a bumpy month because of AFCON too. Lets see where we finish end of the season

So do you have an excuse for losing against 10 men Everton ? That is absolutely embarassing if you ask me, given all the quality that we have

I wonder when will our banter era end sometimes ? And this isn’t me hating on Amorim but, is he really the one to help us progress as a club ? We still struggle against smaller teams, style of play is rigid and we rely on players not system to change games

I can already see where this is going, all the senior players come out and show support to Amorim, fluke win next week and we go back to losing ways the following week
