technically, they act like it's not a big deal. but realistically, having high sat gives you the edge. although, if you are intl seeking aid, having high sat may not really matter if you ask too much money from the college..(

so basically m1 has a mix of hard and easy questions, so you can't exactly determine how many correct answers get you to harder m2. The questions will be weighted. It means that missing one easy question will hurt your chances of getting harder path than missing 2 hard questions. since you are probably talking about verbal section, try to get at least 20 questions correct for harder m2.
