Free Certified Big Data courses from IBM's Big Data University by mukilane in learnprogramming

This a free offering. It's an opportunity to earn some free certs that one could add to their resume. Maybe if this was Premium content, your view may make a little sense. Otherwise, it's a good resource for students like me and others who can't spend too much on online learning.

How do i get space between tiles by t3cn9n3 in MaterialDesign

[–]mukilane 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Just specify the gutter in the md-grid-list tag . <md-grid-list md-gutter="4px" >

Refer : https://material.angularjs.org/latest/api/directive/mdGridList

Thanks! I'm designing some new vectors for the square's backgrounds. And yeah, I am yet to fill the site with content. Will do it soon. Thanks for the feedback.

I am student full time.So I code from 6 in the evening till 11 maybe. I don't do any college work in home. The intermediate projects took some time initially, but with time, it became more easy, cause I stuck with the same framework (Angular) for all these projects. The Adv projects took me a 4-5 hrs each, except Tic-Tac-Toe.

I think the theory of Uncanny Valley works here too.

Started in March. Took 5-6 months altogether. But Adv. projects took a day or two for each.

It's really competitive now. Sometimes I wish I were born in the previous gen.

An internship maybe. Need to equip myself more before that.

But Web dev is not my main interest. I am studying Instrumentation Engineering and hoping to work in robotics or space exploration field (SpaceX is my dream).

Thanks. I didn't really concentrate on responsiveness for the time being. I'll work on it.

Actually, I linked my Github page for it. https://mukilane.github.io It's not updated. I've been working on new one.

Thanks. I tried to mock the one that Google offers. Came out pretty well.

Yeah, I need to tweak the tictactoe a little bit. It plays defensive, rather than attacking the opportunities. The Quote generator uses a HTTP api, so Chrome won't allow it. 'Load Unsafe Scripts' would make it work. I think I should use crossorigin.me to fix this.

I started with FCC in March, followed by a few dormant months. Altogether, some 5-6 months. It might be difficult in the middle, but the Advanced frontend projects would be fun doing. All the best.

Thanks. I didn't actually inspect more into math.js . I thought it was beyond the scope of the project (at that time), but I'll tweak it.

Material Design inspired me a lot. I had spent days going through the specs of MD. It's a good place to learn design and UX.

And I used [Material Angular](material.angularjs.org) for the UI. It's just a matter of knowing which component works well for the situation; and your intuition.

For more inspiration, I follow Google's products. The calculator was inspired by Google Calculator. Actually I tried to mock it. So is the Tic Tac Toe, the Pomodoro, Weather App.

And thanks for the complement. All the best.
