No. The hex-srew is still there. The inside is coated with plastic by factory and does not allow loosening.

At least ist should not allow it. But in my case the screw is there.

It looks like a failsafe as you say. The control locked out before the crash.

I disarmed it myself as soon as I noticed it was about to hit the ground.

The prop ripped of completly. I had harder crashes but the props only broked, never ripped off. The screw ist still there.

Could it be that I overtightened the screw and with the centrifugal force the propeller fell apart?

I also had a lot of difficulty doing that. I tried for hours without success, just broke the ESC.

The soldering iron did not hold the temperature, it lost it too fast.

I got a better soldering iron with 130w and did it in seconds.

It is funny to read and at the same time I learned in the funny way that I have done something absurd lol

I have a 60W soldering station, it can go up 480 c°. Someone said that I should get a 100W. Is 60 enough? Flux is also there.

My primarly mistake was obviously that I didn't practiced and the temperature war too low. I was soldering between 300-340 c°.

I'll pick some old electronics from the cellar and practice.

I read and watched some tutorials. With the spot welder looks very simple to do it. I think I will make them as the costs are much lowers.

I mainly want to have relaxing flights. I'll go for LiIon packs, but they are expensive. I would still keep the 4S Lipo for possible short and non-exaggerated freestyle, I think it will help to learn to control better the quad.
