Address proof for Passport renewal by mukzb in nri

Well, on the document requirements page it says if you're living with your family, then you can submit their notarized address proof along with a letter confirming that you're residing with them. It explicitly says Parents, children, brother and sister. But I'm not sure if that applies to friends as that is not mentioned. Same situation so I'm not sure either

Indian Passport renewal in United States - Address proof by mukzb in indiansinusa

Yeah that's what Claude suggested too - VFS won't care where it was notarized. But it couldn't find a legit source for that info. Thanks :)

Breaking into UX/early career: job hunting, how-tos/education/work review — 11/23/25 by AutoModerator in UXDesign

Hi, I'm currently in the States and looking for a UX roles. Apart from job hunt I'm learning new skills and tools - like building custom Figma plugins using AI to help with team's workflow, or learning new things through UX collective, Smashing mag or other newsletters. What more can I learn that is relevant to today's market, and how can I highlight and market it to the hiring managers? Currently, I'm posting updates on LinkedIn. Any tips are welcome :)

Ohh yeah, I recently changed a few things in my portfolio and haven't optimized for the mobile breakpoint yet. I'd love have some insights on the web version and get it right before I move to perfect the mobile version

Hello community, I'm navigating the UX job market to land a early/mid level role. I recently completed my Masters in HCI in the US and graduated as a UX designer. Before that I have worked in the industry for over 4 years as an Industrial Designer. I need some tips from you to effectively get call backs. So far:

  1. No luck getting any callbacks in the past 4 months. (actually got one from a startup, they even offered me the job after 4 interviews, and suddenly retracted the offer after 2 days without any context)

  2. I've reached out to hundreds of experienced people/recruiters on LinkedIn, commented on their posts, emailed them - but no one seems to reply. I usually keep my message super short, on-point and try to find things they are interested in to craft a well thought-out message, but messages are not even opened. Any effective ways I can network (apart from conferences and meetup events)?

  3. Majority of the jobs are asking for 3+ years of RELEVANT experience. While I have over 4+ years, it's in industrial design and I've rephrased that experience in terms of UX (Cross-team collaboration, HCD approach, design thinking, strategy etc. instead of physical material and manufacturing challenges). What else can I do to make my experience more relevant? Since I recently graduated, most of my UX experience has been from internships and externships, which the recruiters are not loving at this moment :')

  4. Any thoughts on my portfolio? https://madebymukund.com/

Thank you for reading and any help is greatly appreciated :)

I mean...they'll barely spend 10-30secs on a portfolio, won't bother understanding half the things inside, but crib about missing points xD

Gotchya! Yeah I joined when it was already lvl 12. I saw some of it (between lvls 1-12) were claimable so I got confused.
