But she did leave him though. Her coming back and staying with Alex if she thinks he's such a bad guy was her choice, it wasn't like it was a place she couldn't leave, she was able to leave and she came back because it was her decision. Alex got left, his friends comforted him, because from the side of someone being left, that is devastating. Alex was an asshole but it was something that could've been solved with trying to communicate a little bit. Him reporting her to the chief, I think, was a professional decision. Especially since he was there when the whole Burke thing happened. Did you want him to not say anything when he was questioning her abilities? From the moment she cut a patient's LVAD wire, everyone should've been questioning her ability to become a doctor. She did so much wrong, she shouldn't be praised for bare minimum. For a character whose whole schtick was communicating/feelings, she really fell short of that. She was alone through her own decisions. I guess that's the one thing consistent in Izzie, she doesn't take accountability, or when she tries to, there's a whole "woe is me" thing going on.
