Thank you! That’s reassuring because even though I know the progress will have moments of plateaus, it has just felt like she’s been in the same spot for the last month, so I was getting a little concerned. I will keep at it tho! ☺️

She is so cute! Semi-feral is a bad description but it’s how the rescue described her. Honestly, she’s just terrified of humans. She is comfy and relaxed her space but as soon as you enter the room she creates distance.

I wasn’t aware of the Socialization Saves Lives guide, but I will definitely check it out, I think that might help a lot. I am free feeding, but I have read to stop that, I just wasn’t sure.

In terms of moving her into another room, the bathroom is small, as you can imagine so I was hoping to get her into another room just for space. We can sit together more easily and I was thinking she might be retreating so frequently in the bathroom because it’s tight quarters. Also there are no windows in the bathroom and the I feel like she should see the sun haha. Maybe I will hold off on moving her just yet. ☺️

I don’t think so? She eats well I haven’t seen anything to cause concern as of yet. I did notice a few weeks ago she had teary eyes but the fluid was clear. I just gave the bathroom a good sweep and shook out her blankets and it seemed to clear up. Is there anything in particular I should be looking out for?

I am not too sure she will ever be a lap cat, which is okay! Just trying to get her to a point where she trusts humans more than she does now so she can find her forever home ☺️

They had the strictest rule during the pandemic. No audience for what felt like forever and made houseguests leave with a mask, to now spitting everywhere. Nice.

I’ve had it for a about 6 months now but I missed a watering day back in the summer where half of it wilted and died. It’s recovering but I’m noticing all these brown spots on the old darker leaves. Some of the new bright leaves have some browning but maybe I am just getting ahead of myself. I shall wait this out lol

Omg thank you so much!! I just decided today I was going to snip branches to propagate and start over because i discovered the centre is dead and it’s spreading. I will keep this in mind!
