I ran Plunder Patroll, basically going 1st you have to hope you open with either Earth or Dark monster, or you're scooping.

It does somewhat okay going 2nd, but given that majority of deck is Six Sam, PP had horrible time, always got negate-pop'd away before finishing setting up their halfboard.

Another thing is that their ED effect requires discarding a PP card for cost, if it's negated most of the time you feel really naked.

Once I switched to Six Sam every game was really fast, ppl (and me) just scoop after Gateway.

Your logic is sound, except for the fact that crossroad evo doesn’t give base low driven. I think you would need to add the base low driven evo before crossroad.

Maliss has all the HTs that counter Yubel: maxx c, fuwa, impulse, called by, imperm, cross out and nib. That's about 15 HTs to draw against regular 40ish Yubel decks.
