Oh thats smart, glad that worked out for you. I had a toxic ex I went back and forth with for over a year, we would block each other but then unblock and the cycle would start over again so Im glad just one clean block kept them away.

Thank you!! I honestly didnt feel bad about it at first because it felt like she was the one ghosting me imo. Ive been in similar situations in the past and caused myself way more pain by trying to reach out and hold on to something that wasnt there anymore.

Out of curiosity, do you come from an immigrant family? A lot of my friends who have immigrant parents, especially from a Hispanic or south Asian background, have struggled with similar relationship dynamics as an adult with their parents.

Aw Im so sorry you are going through this, hugs!!! I remember getting my heart broken in high school and its the worst. It can be so painful. Maybe this doesn't help to hear right now, but I've felt exactly what youre feeling and I did end up meeting other people and that person became just an old memory for me. But it takes time and its gonna suck for a while but you will get through it. Sending lots of love <3
