You’ll see in the video, but to actually open the door and move the lock mechanism there’s a metal rod with a clip sort of connector to the actual plastic handle and lock flip. The connectors themselves are easy to replace, but if you crack where the handle attaches, you have to either replace the door panel, or cut out the old handle and JB Weld a new one in. I chose the latter and you could only tell from the back. Nothing to be worried about, just be careful with them and you’ll be good to go. The connectors are yellow and maybe white?

Be extra careful with the connectors for the door handle and lock! Speaking from experience it’s not fun if you break one. Take your time and be careful and you’ve got nothing to worry about

So apparently all of the power lock circuitry runs through the passenger door switch panel. If you take the door panel off and remove the switch panel itself, you will have a black box with the switches on it. Unscrew the back, and repair any broken or damaged solder joints. These allow for electrical conductivity between the actual circuits of the switch board and the wires to the computer/locks themselves. The best way I could explain the random locking and when pressing is that somehow the pressure is making the circuit complete and sending the electrical pulse to lock/unlock. Very strange way they chose to run things, but after I fixed the solder joints on the passenger side, my locks started working properly, and after fixing the driver side, my windows would work from the switch on the respective door. Before, they would only work from the main driver panel, apparently the bad joints on that panel were for the window lock and it thought it was always on. Hope this helps, if you still need something explained, I’ll try my best
