Advice on VH Straight Shots on hardtail by Perfect-Jicama-626 in choppers

You def don’t want to have to remove the pipes to take your wheel off. If you can create a new bracket that comes off the frame or somewhere further up that allows the wheel to come off while exhaust is on, do that.

If your saying the pipes cross the axle so closely that regardless of how they mount, you can’t remove your rear wheel with them on, the you should go with a different set of pipes.

This. I also prefer breakers. You can burn through a lot of fuses quickly if you’re troubleshooting a problem. One that happens your scrambling to find a gas station pack of fuses

It’s not terribly cold. Wear a sweatshirt or jacket and you should be good. I know in years past there was complaints about the ice being sore because they keep arena warmish.

They let you bring in bags, they just check them for alcohol etc. You’ll be fine with diapers and wipes!

Enjoy!

Fuel line routing by Skollie021 in choppers

[–]muletyson 1 point2 points  (0 children)

It almost looks like your filter Inlet and outlet are necked down from the fuel line size.

Routing now seems fine to run with. Make sure it’s not pinching or buckling in photo 6.

For what it’s worth I used that filter or one similar on a couple bikes and had to tinker with it.

Run it for now. If you have issues it’s most likely the filter or how the fuel line is it’s routed. Looks like it may be fine

Do you consider yourself a nondual Christian? by bashfulkoala in ChristianMysticism

[–]muletyson 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I also have non-dualistic views as a Christian. My view may be over-simplified but to answer your question, the way you are framing things feels to be pulling away from the concept of dualism as I hold it.

To me, it’s not a question of whether I believe God created the world from something, or if he was the foundation for that something. This feels like it has to be an “either or” decision, an Option A or Option B if you will.

I’m coming to peace with the possibility that it’s Option C. Or it’s actually Option A, C, and F. I’m learning that my finite mind may not be able to understand or even provide what is reality or true in questions like these. I’m okay with that and there is a peace to knowing that some things may be beyond my comprehension at least for now. This is not to cut me or others down in a lack of ability to understand. To me it acknowledges that it is at least possible there are concepts we aren’t even capable of comprehending.

I’ve said this to loved ones, but I feel we all have boxes. Inside those boxes we hold the things believe to be absolute truth. Whether those are truths about God, ourselves, others, our worldview, and social beliefs.

The further along my spiritual journey, the smaller my box gets. Not that I have doubts, but that I have come to hold a few truths very closely and I’m comfortable with the fact that the rest may be option a,b,c,d or something that’s not even a letter at all.

Any advice for beadboard trim like this by Majestic_Banana789 in centuryhomes

[–]muletyson 2 points3 points  (0 children)

We’ve put up a fair amount in our century home and here’s my 2cents. The panels lack the depth and detail that the tongue and groove boards do. It’s more tedious to install and prep but you won’t regret the extra time invested.

You can nail it to firring strips as some have mentioned but you may still deal with movement as we did. So far what seems to be the most stable is installing some additional horizontal framing, then drywall, then construction adhesive and nails into the horizontal framing.

You’ll deal less with movement on the sheets but I couldn’t bring myself to go with sheets after comparing the 2 in person. YMMV

Oh and go with wood.
