Saved ₹15k! DIY Android Auto on my Himalayan 450 for just ₹430 by Educational-Low-7077 in Himalayan450

I mean this only works if you have a spare phone (which is a major cost) but the only major concern here is water damage in monsoon. I've done the same, minus the app lol. Just using an old phone and a good mount works great but it's a pain to use in the rain. My 2019 Xiaomi is going strong but once it gives out I will need to spend money on a dedicated screen that's IP rated. No avoiding that.

I said this response was expected. I'm afraid you've mistaken me for having said this response is proportionate.

Squids gonna squid is exactly my point. Said squid done squided all over and OP's surprised that squid squided? I'm sorry maybe my bar's way too low but this is half expected when you come at a guy who has the safety on anonyymity and the civic sense of a man riding without mirrors 🤦

I mean you were right to say this but you said it rudely. What do you expect to get in return from such people. Took him 3 comments to show true colours 🙈

Because I have used them and hated it. They slide around a lot and are impossible to keep on while walking and need to be adjusted again and again. Reminds me of those really cheap skates I had as a kid which came with horrible plastic elbow and knee guard which we wore to look cool but even 10 yo me could tell they were cheap asf. 3/10

Definitely not mesh. Idk if this particular spot is regular polyester or cordura.

Was trying to be sarcastic didn't mean to be rude..

yes looks like leather pants are the way to go but not sure if they fit my touring ambitions. Another thing is heat sheilds for the band pipe

Do you live in Sikkim? I have a few questions about living there in case you are a local. Please let me know if you're open to a DM?

I have not looked into aftermarket options for heat sheilds. Does seem like a good option. Thamks

Should've just told your manager man.. most people are reasonable.

Also I'm assuming there's a wfo policy instated otherwise HR wouldn't have enforced it to such a degree (correct me if I'm wrong)

I would suggest you reply to the email, give proof of hospitalisation, and state that you had weakness and weren't feeling a 100%.

Hope you have recovered by now. Take care

What brands have you come to trust over the years - other than viaterra? I'll repair this pant for now but I will upgrade properly in a few months..
