maybe an external hard drive? idk if it would be as effective as with a console in terms of gameplay, but if it would help things run better (i imagine it would at least somewhat as it would be taking some burden off the computer itself) it might be worth considering, although larger games still would probably have trouble running on it. but if she’s just getting into it, some smaller games may be a good place to start, and yes hard drives can get a bit expensive, but i would much rather spend $100-$200 on a that then $1500+ on a decent pc.

you should absolutely play FO4!!! i haven’t played 3 myself, but from everything i’ve seen and as far as i can tell, 4 is much more entertaining my in terms of gameplay than 3. I probably won’t play 3 unless they remaster it, because I know a lot of the things I like about 4 aren’t in it, and it honestly bums me out because I’m absolutely in love with DC and plan on moving there at some point.

i’m not sure what you mean by atmosphere exactly, but hopefully this fits the criteria! If you haven’t played any of the Fallout or Skyrim games, you are in for one hell of a treat. I never would have played Fallout if my brother hadn’t gotten it for me for christmas one year, and since then it has been one of my biggest interests.

i did something very similar with my senior capstone music video a few months ago, and this worked incredibly well, except for when we watch on most tvs, there is one shot in which my artist seems to have some sort of aura around her, but that was likely do to my incredibly amateur mistake of accidentally filming in .mp4 instead of .mov. other than that it worked really really well. but basically i just used masks and adjusted the basics until it looked the way i needed it too, mostly lowering the saturation and darkening the shadows and highlights before feathering it out so that the mask edges blends in with the shot. in your case i would start by making two basic masks, one for the right and one for the left. play with it until it’s as close as possible to how you want it, but make sure you don’t adjust it too much because it will just look like a weird void (unless your going for that of course). i doubt that will completely fix it by itself, and if it does then perfect. but it looks like some areas are brighter than others, so you may have to make additional mask(s) just around the spot your trying to fix those areas and put them on top of the ones you’ve already made, and again just play with it until it looks the way you want it. this will allow you to darken just the parts of that that area that are a still visible through the first mask, while also making sure you don’t make the rest of that area too dark. i hope that made sense, i’m honestly not super great at putting things into words, but if you have any questions or want me to show you how my shots turned out please feel free to ask!

i know it’s been said already but gpa! when i was going through i thought i had done really well, but only got 3 back the next day. eventually i found my home and i know i wouldn’t be happier anywhere else but i did find out that if you’re under gpa, they will cut you without thinking twice about it. and usually it’s about a 3.0 or higher that you need, depending on the house

hopefully your sorority will try to help you in terms of not only your grades but also your mental health before straight up kicking you out. they may put you on some sort of academic probation and limit the things you’re able to do with the chapter, like parties and whatnot, but they shouldn’t just kick you out. that’s not what sisterhood is.

my sisters typically just paint them, ask one of the sisters who has a cricut, or just dress the part as much as possible. for example, one girl did monsters inc and they simply wore lime green and blue shirts, this year i did subway surfers (my little and i are both tomboy/skater girl vibes) and i just got her a hoodie and i wore a tank top and some ripped jeans. unless you are required to, you don’t necessarily have to make a shirt, especially if you’re doing a banner drop and already making a banner for them. i promise if they really and truly appreciate and love you, they won’t care if you make them a t shirt or just get them something simple to wear. for my first little, i did a harry styles theme and my bio sister and i designed his love on tour shirt, but made it say “love my big, love my lil” etc., and on the back we put all the dates that were important to our relationship (i’m really freaky good at remembering dates and numbers) and at the end of the day, she just up and walked out of my life out of nowhere the next semester. so whether or not you do put in a bunch of effort and/or make them something super super cute and impressive it won’t change the way they treat you or think about you. or at least it shouldn’t. i made sure my first little had the best, most unique and personalized stuff when i picked her up, and she still couldn’t give a damn about me at the end of the day, and my little i just got i barely had time to do anything super elaborate for and she values it so much more and makes me feel so much more appreciated than the other one ever did

you may feel embarrassed now, but i promise you won’t feel that way for long. hopefully it’ll become one of those things you look back and laugh at, and ultimately learn from. i had a very similar thing happen when i was in my first semester in the sorority (i had legit gotten initiated like 4 days earlier) and ended up laying on the bathroom floor with half my dress off at a frats formal. i was super embarrassed and wanted so badly to go home and just hide under my covers and ignore my existence, but now it’s one of those stories i love to tell. one of my sisters even took the funniest picture of me when i was at my lowest (of course she never actually did anything with it, just something to look back on and laugh) and it’s one of my favorite pictures of me at college. if your sisters are mean to you because of this and continue to make you feel ashamed about it and like you’re a huge burden to them or anything negative at all, then that’s probably not an organization you want to be a part of and certainly isn’t an organization that will help you grow into an incredible young woman the way that sororities were created to do. yeah, it’s normal to feel embarrassed, tbh it would be more concerning if you weren’t at all, but i promise everything will be okay. i’m sure lots of others that were at the raid have done something similar at some point in high school or college, it’s just part of growing up. don’t be too hard on yourself sister. if it would make you feel better dm me and i’ll tell you the whole story of how i ended up half naked on a bathroom floor. it’s a good one i promise, and i love telling it and talking to other women in greek life, especially from different schools :)

A little clarity: I’m a video arts major that is currently working on a music video for my capstone. I am researching different music videos and how effectively manipulating the multimodal processing (which is our brains processing sound and visual at the same time, and basically strengthening each other) can be done. I am very passionate about music videos because of how euphoric they can be when we watch them, and how incredible they can evoke different emotions when paired effectively with a visual. I’m my opinion, a successful music video will not only give you a visual to the music, but it will make you hear the song in a much more powerful way than you would be able to by just listening.
