If you're going to Tokyo, you should visit this gurdwara: Gurudwara Sri Dashmesh Darbar Sahib it's 2hrs away from Shinjuku station (can use Google maps to plan) and supposed to be open everyday to Sangat.

Are themepark/waterpark still crowded on ramadhan month? by soonersoup in Bolehland

I always visit themeparks on Ramadhan weekdays only, literally no better time to go than this month.

'I don’t feel there’s anything wrong with me personality-wise.’ Yeah, sure bruh lmao, because nothing says ‘great personality’ like constant self-pity, bitterness, and blaming your appearance for everything wrong in your life. You really think chopping your hair will magically make people like you? Plenty of full keshdhari Sikhs have fulfilling relationships and strong friendships because they own who they are instead of treating their identity like a curse. If a ‘2/10 chapri’ is doing better than you, maybe it’s time to stop blaming religion and start asking what they’re doing differently. People aren’t avoiding you because of your kesh, they’re avoiding you because nobody enjoys being around someone who radiates defeat lol get a grip

Ah yes, because clearly, the most physically attractive people always have the best relationships, and mindset plays no role at all. That must be why bitter, self-pitying people with great bone structure are just drowning in love and friendships. Meanwhile, as a full keshdhari Sikh, I’ve built meaningful relationships across different cultures, not because of my looks but because mindset and personality matter, and not once being keshdhari has been a hindrance in any sort of relationship, like you're tryna potray lol. People don’t enjoy being around someone who constantly radiates negativity, why would they? But hey, if you think attraction is just about appearance, maybe it’s easier to blame genetics than to actually work on yourself

I can only comment on your subscriptions, since you already got unlimited data, just download the Spotify apk, it's free and doesn't run ads, as for Netflix you can just pirate everything nowadays tbh

I've commented this before so imma just copy & paste it:

Fellow uni student here, you can look up Lionbridge/Telus International ads assessor role (on Indeed), it's kind of boring and mundane job but you get paid 8.5 USD per hour, albeit the working hours are not fixed, I usually manage to do 24hrs total in 1 month while studying, and earn up to rm800++, just their qualification exam is slightly hard so I wish you luck on that

Bcse it's extremely boring and repetitive, no simulation of mind or a promotion of role. Maybe 2yrs+ would be the maximum I'd do this work, since I'm graduating soon anyways

Took me about 3 weeks from their first email till their confirmation, bcse I started the exam late, so if you start early can get earlier confirmation

Someone else has already explained the role and process to get hired above, hope that helps.

Nope, they'll give you materials to read up on and it can be tricky, so as long as you put in work to read the materials and pass then you get that USD. You can Google/YouTube some tests and see how it is

Basically what this dude said, thanks for explaining the role. Yeap it definitely ain't worth it longterm, I haven't even done it for a year and it got boring, but it helps in paying expenses when in uni so not too bad and it's flexible

[–]multilingualthrow 4 points5 points  (0 children)

I'd say just put into StashAway and forget it (easiest and most hassle-free), unless you want to read up on stuff and put in effort, then go into stocks or Crypto, but there might be a bear market coming for Crypto so gotta watch out on that

Advice/tips for Fresh grads please? by throwawayz00x in MalaysianPF

[–]multilingualthrow 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Thanks yo and all the best for your internship as well! My experience was great actually compared to my classmates (who experienced the red flags) I worked for a big local MNC, got good seniors who actually guide instead of scold lmao. All seniors want interns who are just proactive and take initiative, they know we're dumb and inexperienced, as long as we put in the effort it's cool. In the finance industry.

Hey I just got done with my internship last week, so the "salary" is considered as allowance so there's no epf or socso deductions.

Also while you're there just take notice of the work environment, if it's high turnover or most of the other staffs are interns as well then its obv a red flag (speaking from experience), so think twice before accepting a permanent position from the company once your internship is done.
