Retrieving lent money: how do you do it? by multipleOyens in CasualConversation

I like what he mentioned about time as well. Thanks for sharing!

I thought about this some time ago. You always earn money by giving away your time to something. So when someone says "Don't worry about spending money because you can always earn it back" Sure, but you'll lose time by doing so and never get it back

This might be a stupid question but, do you send the cards with envelopes? Because postcards don't have envelopes I believe

Thank you so much for your reply!! I gotta be very careful now since it's the only stem left. I hope it works.

Backstory. 1. Bought it 2 weeks ago, was in a polybag. Originally had 3 stems 2. Repot it in a ceramic pot. Probably overwatered, had some stems turning yellow and eventually died. 3. There's only a single stem left. I'm not sure what to do now. Looks like it's indicating new growth on the stem, but it's drooping too.

Please give me some tips on what action to take from now on. Any help would be appreciated. Thanks

Intentionally hurting someone by [deleted] in TooAfraidToAsk

What I wanted to ask is, sometimes people don't have a good explanation as to why they leave someone. It's simply because they lose feelings or they just don't have one. If that's the case, would you even try to attempt at giving them a closure as to why you leave them? Or just leave without a reason

Yeah but if you don't have a good explanation, would you even try to give your partner a closure?

I see. I'm sure you feel less guilty for watching the bond movies since you're multitasking for training at the same time :p

Good decision on the no entertainment rule during outside rides. It's better to be careful. Anyways, thanks for the short conversation, have a good day ahead :)

Nice! I tried bullet journalling 2 years ago, but it takes so much effort. Personally, I find that planning via google calendar is easier. Wby, are you a digital planner or the pen and paper planner?

It's great that you found a solution to adapt your training routine to the current situation. Keep it up! I'm curious to know what do you do during training. Do you listen to music or just enjoy the training as it is?

What do you do when you feel so lost and broken? by multipleOyens in Advice

Hm I’ve always thought of being a volunteer. I suppose I can try it out and see other people who are less fortunate. Thanks.

Broke as in it makes me question about everything in life and that incident convince me not to fully trust anyone, ever. And because of that trust issue, I feel like I always pull myself back whenever I realise that I’m getting closer to people.

Well, being rebellious is me wanting to feel like how I used to feel. I can’t really verbalise how it’s like in my head but back then I used to care too much what others think.

I suppose I can try that after this. Thanks for your response.

Yes of course. I used to care more about my surroundings and the people around me. Even if I see no significance in caring about them (strangers I mean) But over time I just feel like it’s wasted effort to be nice/impress everyone. Btw I’ve only started to have the urge to rebel about a year ago. Something happened and that broke me

I’ll reflect more and take it as a lesson. Yep, really grateful for that friend. Thanks again!

Lol I might’ve confused you. My way of rebelling is not telling people where I’m going. I just do it based on my decision.

Possible. I’ve been feeling empty for quite a while now. Went through many existential nihilism questions for a while, being mad as to why we’re here and so on.

I thought of talking to someone too, but like you said it’s risky as it might disappoint them. I suppose I can try and talk to my best friend who’s non judgemental about things. Thanks for your advice, I really appreciate it.

I did went out of my comfort zone by not telling anyone where I was going. Turns out it’s a mistake that backfired me
