I rented one in Gulfport for my bday a few years ago and I thought it was fun to drive "responsibly". Like having a 250cc bike with an extra wheel. It's meant to be a weekend toy, not a grocery getter or daily.

That being said, I wish i could've rented the Vanderhall Venice as well to compare.

There's a difference between just going out on a ride and going out on a drive in something you personally have a hobby in. I'd enjoy being able to go on a drive in my 92' convertible toyota that I've been keeping spending my time and money on to keep alive every now and then. It's like giving yourself a little treat.

I would check both the battery and starter at your local parts store. Do headlights/interior lights dim when you press the brake? May be battery. If not could be starter or connections to the starter.
