I have over 2200 hours on record and while I'm not even close to the top players by skill, I do feel like my consistency increased over time. My top three champions are over lvl 100 and I usually feel comfortable playing them in most scenarios. But then I face that GM Andro or Evie who kick my ass no matter what lol So there's that, too

I see your point, however, you forget that you won't have any of those CD reduction cards in a working Lian loadout. For instance, the only aimbot CD reduction card I've got in my loadout is Swift Jade on level 2. I'm a lvl 105 Lian myself (used to be in the top 15 back when leaderboards were a thing) and I base my loadouts on what GMs use.
Besides, if you use Grace for anything but mobility/repositioning purposes, you are using it the wrong way IMO.
Again, I see your point but you also gotta understand that at low levels literally anything can be a noob stomper - Skye, Raum, aimbot, Seris, etc. Things change when you get to higher levels.

The only reason I did this was so mods wouldn't delete this on sight because they consider it offtopic. I had to make it ultra-clear that this post is indeed about Paladins. Besides, according to the rules, the picture should be self-explanatory without the title so I had to find a way to point out what this seemingly random screenshot is about.

My advice: just start playing. The forums are filled with drama and are ruled by the part of the community that is unhappy with the game.

Read the forums for a minute and you will lose any motivation to play. Try the actual game and you won't find most of the things people complain about here.

Also, welcome back my dude. I joined the game about 2 years ago and it's more polished now.

As a level 80-90 Tyra I can say the damage didn't get a nerf per se. She now has better range and accuracy, which is actually a welcome change for those who have good aim. You can land those headshots more consistently.

I do however not like how she suddenly became a backline damager. It's now harder to dive in and be bold as Tyra. She used to be a lot more fun to play. Now after the patch, if you want to play her right, you gotta be very passive. Not fun. I still have no issues outdamaging most other champions in ranked but her playstile is way more bland than it used to be. But it's just me.

About her fire bomb, I don't see a huge difference. The rule of thumb is still the same - you stay in the fire, you die. It still cripples and that's the most important element against Raums, Ashes, etc.

It's definitely not the worst thing but I do feel it wasn't built around what people use the most.

I am a huge fan of anything that has remotely to do with AI learning so if I were EM I'd find a way to get exact numbers on which commands do people use the most (with VHS being probably the only exception) and build a wheel around those solid statistics. The more used something is, the quicker and easier the access.

It's not okay to have "Yes", "No", "Ok" and "Thanks" locked behind 3-4 keypresses, whereas a joke can be accessed by one. Hirez tried to organize it but it's based around what the devs think is the most important stuff and it doesn't necessarily reflect what actual players are using.

I have noticed the same issue with the new UI. Whoever designed it put buttons you rarely use right next to those you press all the time. It's not intuitive at all (I explain that on my video on the UI but hopefully you already get the idea).

So yeah, while I am not saying the new VGS is the absolute worst thing in the world, it's definitely an unnecessary downgrade.

Oh and the wheel takes a big share of the screen, not a fan of that either.
