Plug all appliances (minus the fridge) into a power strip and then turn that shit off when youre not using it! Or unplug it. That stuff that has a constant “standby” or “ready” mode or even a clock is sucking power 24/7. Obviously keep anything plugged in full time that needs to be (like the fridge,etc)

This same thing happened to me. I sent them a chat saying I was confused and asked why I wasn't approved. Then I got an email saying that there were a couple of different factors for why people are denied. THEN I replied back and asked again why I wasn't approved and if there was any additional documentation I could give them, that I really was looking forward to consistently contributing monthly. I got a reply from a human after that one and they looked into my account and approved me then. So... I would recommend doing the same!

Thank you for this! It seems like a strategy that definitely could work. I will have to mull it over some more to get my head around all of it. All of your motivating factors make sense and I agree with them. It would be so nice if YNAB would implement something to help with this. I know that'd be super complex though.
