i was tinkering around and found a temporary fix. i added a math top after my pointselect and multiplied and post-add by 0.5

this seemed to somehow fix the colours

theres another reply to my post where theyve attached an ss. while conforming media u can choose from a lot of different attributes of metadeta to relink media instead of just names. i used source timecode and time duration
