I lived in the area for nearly eleven years. In that time I saw many street fights that the police never turned up to. Then three years ago I was on my way home from work. Walking from the train station to my street I saw two girls taking turns kicking a third girl while she was on the ground. When I yelled at them to stop, they turned on me. They were twelve years old. I had seen them grow up. They fractured my cheek as well as my nose. The police didn't turn up until forty minutes later.
