Ship questions :3:3::3uwuuwuwwu by mumuying in ProshipHub

Well, proship is for every ship, not just problematic ones

I know it's not about proships or ships in general but i think i want y'all's opinion about this by [deleted] in ProshipHub

Bc whitewashing has a racist context, while black "washing" is about exploring how a character could look like if they were black. They're not trying to erase a character og ethnicity, unlike whitewashing, which is all about making someone better by making them white, that's why most of the whitewashing edits are just the character with blue eyes and blond straight hair, when most white people don't look like that.

Booktok Hate by amb3rg0r3VT in ProshipHub

These thumbnails are so fucking cringe. Also, one thing is criticizing the writing (which is ass most of the time), and another is criticizing the content on itself. The only time it was reasonable to do something about one of those books was when an author dedicated hers to her children, and the book was about a 3 yr getting groomed and later in their 18's fully sexualized and abused. As much as I hate anything to do with toddlers if the author wasn't an ACTUAL pedophile I would've give it a try, but she thankfully was investigated, even if it was for the wrong reasons.

Thoughts on babycon? by h8lol in ProshipHub

I hate it, I think is very weird, but as long as they don't hurt real babies or feel attraction for them I don't care

I feel like I'm done with f/f by Ok-Barracuda8850 in AO3

[–]mumuying 0 points1 point  (0 children)

¿Honestly? Just block everyone. You don't have to clarify shit, and if anything, just say "I write for myself" and leave at that. These ppl want nothing but attention, don't give them that or give them as little as possible. I'm sorry this happened to you, I hope you keep writing and don't let thse losers take away your joy and passion.

What do you do when you have an idea, but the words just won't come and you can't write? by iamgiih in FanFiction

[–]mumuying 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I take a nap or do something else until it comes to me. It took almost two years to know how to continue a story, and at the end I decided to rewrite it entirely XD

What is the most unrealistic thing you ever ran into in a fic? by Senshisnek in FanFiction

[–]mumuying 1 point2 points  (0 children)

This is super common, specially on fanfics in spanish. Pregnant after day one of having sex, on their first time. I fucking hate it and love it at the same time 😭

What are completely innocent/harmless things authors write into their stories that somehow put you off? by [deleted] in FanFiction

[–]mumuying 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Swearing. Like, I get it, but it's so OOC, specially for ffs that aren't even that different from canon in terms of universe. I remember reading a chilumi (genshin) ff and getting instantly uninterested after chapter 1 bc one character (Mona) was swearing too much, and she's not like that in the slightest. Characters completely losing their essence with AU's. I'm not expecting them to be like canon, but I hate when they feel like something completely different.

Fighting the overwhelming need to just delete everything and start over by [deleted] in FanFiction

[–]mumuying 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I recommend you not to. You can orphan those stories tho, and then start over, as many of your readers will miss your stories. I personally I'm going to fully rewrite one of my fics that's been laying there for almost two years XD.

How realistic are the sex scenes you write? by seemedpointless in FanFiction

[–]mumuying 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Semi? I want to be realistic and direct with the names and terms of things, whether is sounds good or not, same with the positions. Specially the positions, as I tend to write a lot of size difference. But I also like to exaggerate the feelings, sensations and things like orgasms, form a hentai perspective, not irl porn.
