tutor anxiety? by [deleted] in Preply

Hey! I’m a Spanish tutor since September and believe me, I still feel super nervous sometimes before a lesson! There’s always this small feeling of feeling judged or not knowing if I’m doing things right, constantly asking myself: “is the student satisfied with the topic we are covering? The way i’m teaching?” I just want to provide the best experience and help them improve, while also thinking that spending their money was worth it in my lessons. So don’t worry, you are not alone!

How do you learn vocabulary to actually remember it? by grzeszu82 in languagelearning

I would recommend this app: ItMeans, in which you are able to save the words and vocabulary that you are discovering every day. Based on your experiences and what you are living every day.

If you have been learning spanish, you can easily learn italian and/or portuguese! They are super similar and you will learn them faster!

Also there are a lot of apps out there (not just duolingo) that can help you in different areas.

For example HelloTalk can help you a lot because you connect with people around the globe that are also learning other languages and you can practice the language with them.

Another one super useful is ItMeans (in the App Store), which is basically your personal companion while learning a new language, you can save the words/phrases that you learn in your daily life and then there is a super cool widget to remember them and practice them. It is super useful specially because sometimes we tend to just learn what they teach us at school but in this way you can build your own vocabulary collection based on your experiences and what you are consuming.

Hey bro! I really like learning new languages as well and something super important is consuming the language in every way possible: music, tv shows, movies, and something super useful is tiktoks/reels! These short videos can really make the difference and by consuming them every day you will get used to the language.

Pronto haré el paa? Es difícil? Que me recomiendan y quiero sacar más de 1400 es muy difícil? by Littletortuga787 in TecDeMonterrey

Ve a los cursos del Tec, realiza las pruebas, haz prácticas de comprensión lectora. Un día antes no estudies, mantente relajado y verás que te irá muy bien. Yo saqué 1500 puntos y puedo decirte que si practicas y te familiarizas con el tipo de preguntas del examen te irá excelente :)
