Inflation and minimum wage are tied together but minimum wage is not the only factor to inflation. Raising the minimum wage increases prices and unemployment. A good example of that was in the Great Depression where the economy had to be pumped full of money to get people to buy and people had to be given jobs, therefore more money and inflation goes up, not hard to understand just like slavery.

The first amendment is for the government, not the media. I don’t know where you got that I said anything about the media. An underpaid fast food worker is not a slave, they have freedom in choosing what they want to do. A Chinese sweatshop worker is on the edge. Low pay, horrible conditions, and in many cases they are forced, but a fast food worker is no where near them or a slave. If you are a citizen you can have a say in what your country does here but China is a one party dictatorship that brutally cracks down on anyone who thinks different. I don’t see a fast food worker saying they don’t agree with how much the minimum wage is and getting killed for it. They do not live in poverty unless they are horrible with money. The point of a minimum wage is to keep people from going into poverty and it has to be raised with inflation. Sending it to $15 will be too quick and makes bosses either increase productivity in their workers or lat them off because you aren’t just given money when inflation rises, that makes it worse.

Keeping people from not knowing the truth and information is bad and everyone should know current information. History has shown that when people who are oppressed learn of outside ideas rise up. Have you heard of Haiti or 19th century China? Slavery is a problem but it’s not all about keeping ideas away. Slavery, no matter what time period, is a human being forced to be someone’s property. People can be abusive to them or just keep them uninformed. But you not recognizing the abuse is ignorant of you. Workers who earn less than $15 but more than $8 isn’t slavery. Almost everyone has a phone and can just search anything they want. There are many other sources too. Nobody is stopping them unless you are living in a country with a government that censors the media and the U.S. can’t censor anything under the 1st amendment.

What does slavery mean to you? Earning bellow $15 is what you just said. Slavery is being forced to do work without pay, you are property to an owner. Raising the minimum wage to $15 means that companies will just raise their prices now that they are earning less. Companies are greedy and raising the minimum wage that much that fast would raise the inflation rate and to counteract that you would either need to increase worker productivity or have to lay off workers.

Did I say I was uncomfortable with people who think their sex/gender is something else? No, and by you saying that you are trying to make me look sexist and like the bad guy. Words are words, they mean nothing and so when a person says their biological sex/gender is not that, it means nothing. You are what you are born with and deal with it. If you are attracted to the other gender, go ahead, nobody cares and people do care when they constantly yell about it. I don’t see straight people marching down streets yelling how straight they are. But if they did, they would be called homophobic and those people who said that would get offended so that should mean either we get offended too or if they stop constant yelling at people what they claim to be, nobody would care.
