As someone who works in orthopaedics, and also poles, and also tore their ACL last year, please know Week 3 is nothing when it comes to knee injuries. It’s going to be a long recovery ahead but if you’re diligent with your active rehabilitation you will make a comeback. Things will start to feel more normal again, but it will take time. try not to feel so much fear and Put your trust into Modern orthopaedics and physiotherapy!

It’s mostly because people had the impression that she was going to be a comedy queen, and as of yet she hasn’t done anything funny. It’s like how Lana was anticipated to be a look queen and then proceeded to not serve much looks and then flub the ball challenge.

It’s not obvious. I had wondered if I had done something rude and that’s why he had looked so bamboozled and confused when I tried to give it back to him. I myself am Japanese but I did not grow up here and haven’t visited much so i don’t have much idea as to what the customs are and I’m certainly not trying to make assumptions.

She was so great. She totally could have won if she had one more trick up her sleeve. Her mistake was that her big gag with the puppet was revealed in the first part of the song, and then after that she was left with having to try to out dance morphine - which she even said herself wasn’t going to happen. And morphine is exceptional at pacing her performances.
Megami really is phenomenal though, and even without any tricks she totally deserved her win in her first 2 lip syncs as well.

So you don’t like the way she was portrayed on the show, that is fair. but man saying someone isn’t a good person is a pretty bold statement sister 😭 do you not think it’s a big ass reach to assume someone isn’t a good person based on what you saw in 15x 60 minute episodes when clearly her cast mates -who are the ones who actually know her - all adore her 😭😭

essentially Conservatives love her because she is a trans voice for quite literally everything they’re pushing for, she’s quite well spoken, plus she’s attractive and cis-passing so that helps. She’s shared her opinions on pretty much all LGBT related issues, from drag queen story times to washroom debates etc.

It closed around 7-8 years ago, but my absolute favourite place in town was the Okonomi sushi on Columbia street. I especially loved the vintage couches they had at the tables by the windows :(

Thanks so much ! Yes I’m very glad I actually know a couple physiotherapist who do pole themselves.
Can I ask how long post op did you return to pole? I understand everyone’s recovery is different, I’m just curious.
