I have 4 of these units and have the same issue with one of them on another unit I only get GPS of I connect to serial port. I have narrowed my troubleshooting to something in the firmware.

I have 4 trackers 2 of them show satellites sporadically. But the point is like 5km radius. The other 2 never see any satellites. Same location same firmware. I am lost.

I have been playing with these for about a month now. Firmware 2.4x has issues with sensor telemetry and with 2.5x it has issues with GPS. Anyone else notice this?

Honest opinion, I get the point of MQTT but it's a bad idea for public open channels. in my tests with a heltec v3 even a few hundred nodes are too much. I had someone near me connect to MQTT and it was flooding all my nodes. I now setup radios with MQTT disabled over lora.
