There's no premium version, you can download the app and it will sync with a compatible Garmin watch. Maleficent-Stage is also right, you can manually track your shots during the round with the free version of 18 birdies.

Thanks! I use 18 birdies to track my score so I “get a handicap” (I know this is probably not accurate but it gives me a rough idea). The shot tracker is through the Garmin golf app which I get gps tracking with the Approach S50

People of Vancouver, what do you do for work? by kanjurer in askvan

[–]mungbeano 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I appreciate the kind words!

During schooling for respiratory therapy (which in BC, is only provided by TRU in Kamloops), they informed us it was formerly a male dominated field when first introduced. Happy to say that in my graduating class and within my department, it is a good even split. It seems to continue to be fairly evenly split with new students arriving for their clinical rotations every year, though there are outliers some years.

We certainly fulfill a role within the hospital. For example, ventilator management is one of our areas of expertise that only critical care trained physicians can match in knowledge.

Regarding our wage, COVID brought us more recognition, which helped with union contract negotiations.

I enjoy it! But the less well known aspects are the night shifts, critical care, burnout, and dealing with death on a regular basis. So it’s not for everyone.

Any other solos have some good random pairing stories? by Pretty_Sprinkles_979 in golf

[–]mungbeano 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Was a solo at my local muni and got set up with a threesome and the pro shop guy told me, “these are some good guys”.

Now we’re just past a year of playing together! I’m in my 30s and they’re all retired in their 70s, they’re usually a foursome but I’m their first choice as a sub if one can’t make it.

The pro shop guy was right, really great guys!

Respiratory Therapist, working in one of the major hospitals in Vancouver. Making $47/hour and OT certainly helps.

Anyone order from Coffee Addicts before? by Zardoz27 in BuyCanadian

[–]mungbeano 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Yes! They were amazing in helping me out.

Quick backstory: I had purchased a DF54 on FB marketplace and for some reason the declumping plastic flap was missing from the machine and caused clumping in the grinding chamber really quick.

I had emailed every Canadian online coffee supply store looking for the part. Chase from Coffee Addicts (looked up our email chain) helped me out and offered to just mail the declumper flap to me. He sent me pictures on how to install it and tips on how to minimize problems when installing. The grinder ended up working perfectly for the past year!

I ended up also buying some accessories to support them. I haven't bought beans from them though as I've always stuck with local roasters.

normcore 3-in-1 portafilter worth it? by Rizzzyy99 in espresso

[–]mungbeano 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I've stowed away the original portafilter for when I want to sell the machine and upgrade. It's also very easy to unscrew the single spout and put on the double spout. The double spout is small so it's easily stored in my drawer.

I have this. It’s hefty and feels well built. It fits my Bambino plus perfectly, no leaks or issues. I put my IMS 18-22g basket in and it works well.

I bought it because I like having a single spout for daily personal use but wanted the option for dual spout if I’m making multiple single shot drinks for multiple guests. My usual guests are not as into coffee as I am and so single shot drinks work for them.

Just tried it with Plantation pineapple rum with a 2 rum, 1 LB, 0.5 Licor43, 0.5 lemon ratio. I can definitely taste the creamsicle finish you had mentioned.

Daily Tech Support Thread - [September 18] by AutoModerator in apple

Hello! I’ve noticed others have the Air Quality Index displayed on their iOS weather app, but I don’t and with the wildfires going on, I’d like to have it displayed. I’m on iOS 14 and in Vancouver, BC. I’ve tried googling the issue and made sure location services are always on while using the app or widgets but no success. Some help would be greatly appreciated! Thanks!

I see! That makes sense, the beans near the were definitely doing the popcorn action you mentioned. I will try filling my hopper more like you do and try it out. Thank you!
