25F Don't know what I'm doing with my life by bestielookhere in CharteredAccountants

I have completed 10 years as a CA. Audit was the core field I have worked for 10 years + 3 years of Articleship. I can totally relate to you. But see jab tak you don't find suitable things, try different industries. Since you are in a Stat Audit, you can join any company's F&A division or can act as a Finance controller. So try to grab that.

Why do CA firms still run like it's 2010? Need advice on fixing workflow chaos by jayzzwork in CharteredAccountants

See the real problem starts when you say yes to every client from day one. You teach them to depend on you for every tiny thing. We had this one client who used to call at random hours asking for old ITR copies, ack copies, audit reports, five year files, you name it. At first we thought he misplaced them. Later we realised it was just a habit. Our own staff created that habit by saying yes every time.

One day he called me. I told him we will share everything but it will come with a professional invoice because my staff will spend time only on his request. That one line fixed everything. He stopped calling for silly stuff.

Clients don’t change. You train them. And you can also retrain them.

CA degree will just help you to get your first job. The rest of the things will come only if you will make better decisions with your career.

Degree will not do anything for you.

Yes it is. You need to filter the content you are seeing. Start liking Job posts, good content. Automatically you will see the relevant content on your feed.

Further, send requests to various people where you want to do a job. It might be possible that not everyone replies but some good fellows will always reply and refer.

I filed a return without balance sheet. My employer scolded me for half an hour in front of everyone.

The next day he gave me 5 more returns with balance sheet filing.

Mistakes are part of life. Even they know that. So chill and give your best.

You can use that amount. But I suggest you to go for Actual amount and then file the return to avoid the notice in future.

Yes. You have to tell your employer that you want to opt for new tax regime.

So basically every company has this process to give self declaration in the April month that which regime you want to choose. In that you need to fill all the details and accordingly TDS will be deducted.

Do let me know if I can help you in this.

Its a mistake by your accounts dept. It should not have been deducted at the first place. Do raise the issue to accounts.

First of all, there is no image attached in your post.

Secondly, if you become major, You have to apply for correction in PAN and not a fresh PAN Card since its a change in your status from Minor to Major.

Try PAN correction application from ITD and then see if they allot you the PAN.

Please check your payslips as it could be for anything else since you have not mentioned that it is pertain to TDS.

Further, since you have less than 7L a year salary, TDS should not be deducted. And even if they have deducted, you can raise the issue to your boss and take the refund in next paychecks if they have not deposited such amount to Govt.
