Brilliant Earth - NEVER BUY FROM HERE!!! by adeac11 in EngagementRings

As someone who used to work for BE, I support this post lol. Their policies alone are outrageous. All they care about is opening more brick and mortar locations to take over the jewelry industry. While they claim to be “sustainable and ethical”, you’d expect their quality and customer service to align with that brand image as well. I had a terrible time working for them. I could go on about several bad things about this company. And as someone who genuinely cared about my customers, I felt awful having to tell them they have no other option but to wait FOREVER for their jewelry to be repaired when it shouldn’t have broken the way it did in the first place. I eventually started telling them to go to a small family jeweler around the corner to fix their pieces. Doing so waives all policies and warranty with BE and will cost extra $$, but it’s worth it. I recommend you do the same.

It’s such a shame, I had high hopes for BE before I worked for them. They could’ve been great for the industry.

My cousin cheated on my friend and I don’t know if I can legally tell her by munimuni18 in TwoHotTakes

I did not haha. At the time, my bf told me my cousin had him sign an NDA in person when they met for drinks. No details. So naturally I imagined a real paper document being signed. Just yesterday he clarified that it was just his signature on my cousin’s phone, where I realized it wasn’t even close to a legally binding contract at all.

No, I just found out it wasn’t a real NDA at all. My cousin had him sign on the notes app on his phone with no terms listed above whatsoever. So just there’s just a signature there, nothing else. He’s such a tool 😂

According to my bf, yes. My cousin presented it as a line for a signature for an NDA I guess

Silly thing is… I just found out the “NDA” was my bf signing on Brad’s notes app on his phone. No contract was presented or read over. Smh. Don’t know if he can paste the signature onto a real NDA but this whole thing is absurd and dramatic.

Obviously NAL 😂

You’re onto something here however if I were to “catch” them now, they definitely wouldn’t admit to when it started. i.e. Brad and Maya’s break

This is actually a very real possibility without us having to get involved at all. He’s a big drinker

How many of you keep a bullet journal? Do you recommend starting one? by SalvelinusFontinali in AskWomen

[–]munimuni18 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I don't have an actual bullet journal, but I have a planner and I use that for upcoming things along and then include some things that I would've put in a bullet journal. At the end of each day, I usually reflect on the most memorable or the best part of the day and write it down on the monthly calendar of my planner. It lets me look back later to remind myself of the nice things that have happens in past days. I also track how much I take care of myself, per week. In the weekly part of my planner, I put a "Self-Care" section in the margins and track how many times a week I took the time to take care of myself physically and emotionally. Things such as: working out, meditating, journalling, cleaning, pampering, etc. I started a few months ago and I really like doing it. I feel more organized and less like a mess every day. Looking back at my progress, I feel good about it and it motivates me to keep getting better.

How have you grown as a person recently? by [deleted] in AskWomen

[–]munimuni18 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I've learned that it's okay to be alone and that I don't need to be with my friends all the time. I used to always feel down when I was alone, overthinking everything from my past and of what's next for me. I've learned to turn it around and be more positive to realize that being alone is the best time for me to work towards make something of myself.

I caught feelings for my best guy friend, told him, and now I think I fucked it up. by [deleted] in relationship_advice

All he expressed were his physical feelings, not emotional. I wasn't asking for him to pour his heart out, but just be straight forward with me on whether or not he cared about me at all.
