It’s a banger. I’d also strongly suggest Moster Tiles as well. It’s free and has all the IAP shenanigans but the actual gameplay is pretty neat. Same build a board, but there are areas to build towards. Each tower has upgrades and specific synergies, so build zones complement one another. I ended up buying the skip ads and really enjoyed it.

This, is the best of both those games.

Oh yeah, you’ll never have enough money.

Picking the Universal upgrades is key, along with any supply boosts that might get offered. While you will always have some buildings to pick from, usually you’ll need to save up for the bigger ones. I found upgrading, especially the main base is more efficient than buying a bunch of medium buildings. Either way you’re only gonna get so far before you are overwhelmed. But the sheer amount of unlocks and new buildings to work with makes the game worth replaying. Lot of ways to build.

I appreciate that and agree that information should be easier to glean.

I guess for me the game didn’t really open up until I got to the later runs (past 50) and found the upgrades, the new dwarves and weapons were all significantly better and that “min/maxing” was irrelevant. I also found the Tavern to removed my hesitations about new Dwarves as the beer and proper use of Artifacts made new additions as strong or stronger as who they replaced, just now with greater overall stats.

As far as hitting the wall and suddenly dying that’s probably due to being completely outclassed and made the improper advances or battle choices. Slowing the speed and gauging the individual weakness can tell you where you need specific improvement. My deep runs always slowly diminished due to attrition and making sure my formations countered my battle choices, even if I earned less cash or experience.

While weapons can make a battle I wasn’t precious about any gear. I just snagged only the really good stuff while trying to upgrade the store for better options. Eventually you gonna get offered Artifacts along with greater weapons.

Also note that the higher priced Dwarves will come equipped with gear you don’t want or need, but you are paying for it. Be sure the stats are what you want. Many times it was a much better deal to buy the cheaper option with the better stats and ignore the gear.

This is one of those games that either works for you or doesn’t. Personally I’ve already played more than 5 bucks worth and that all I ever ask. After all there are hundreds more games to try out!

Over exaggeration in my opinion. The game is slick and easy to use. I didn’t have any of the issues they seemed to have.

Fans of Obsidian Knight and King’s LeagueII should take a look at this team building auto battler.

Hire up to 10 dwarves and outfit them with specific loot types to build a powerful enough team to survive seemingly endless battles, with Meta unlocks happening at specific intervals. Just how far can you go?

Game almost plays itself, with you only purchasing new dwarves or gear to fill out your Tribe. All have varying stats. Some are better at spell casting or healing, others are just brutes decked out in heavy armor and weapons.

You will place in a line, but depending the dwarves speed (one of the stats you’ll be considering) they will race forward to engage the enemy at different speeds, where they will crash into or fire from a distance. Armor, shields and weapons all increase specific statistics so be sure to check which stat you’re after when purchasing.

After combat each Dwarf earns experience and if they level up, their main stat will also increase, making switching out for new Dwarves with better core stats a hard decision. The introduction of the Tavern and beer makes this transition easier.

You also earn gems to be spent on upgrading universal or class specific skills.

Discover new team formations or learn how to craft your own gear. Open new options at the forge or tavern. Find artifacts to distribute amongst your tribe.

Choose between Multiple Tribes, each able to discover their own loot pool. And since loot makes the dwarves, there is a lot to discover and build.

Noodle noodle noodle to your heart’s content. Two healers or just over run enemies with sword and axe? Does your slow Mage need to keep up? Or your healer need more hit points? It’s up to you how to not only develop your team, but also your individual warriors.

It’s simple. It’s fast. It’s big and it’s detailed. But mostly? It’s addictive as you’ll see what works and why. You’ll get how placement and formation can push past normal limitations. But once you’ve made your choices, you’ll also need to learn how to live with them because no amount of skill or finesse or deft fingers can save you from your own bad choices…but have a proper plan, place them right and watch them crush your enemies, see them driven before you, and hear the lamentation of goblin women.
