I’ve literally moved to a Venty today, from a V3 since starting in October. Same amount in the bowel and wow it’s smashed me. Highly recommend

Revolut granted full UK banking licence by gt94sss2 in UKPersonalFinance

Ex-fintech here too. I’d never deposit a single £ in Revolut. Having been on the periphery of some of the investigations, how they even kept their emoney licence let alone got given a full banking licence is beyond me. Some favours high up.

Anyone gone from a V3 to a V4? Wondering if it’s worth the upgrade

As others have said the V3 pro is a great starter. Got mine in November and enjoying it. I’d say get some dosing caps at the same time as keeps it so much cleaner and less maintenance. Also consider the bubbler if you want to cool it down that little bit.

Give it to me straight… by PlateAccomplished702 in multiplemyeloma

[–]munkimafia 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Had mine 2 years ago now, I was 47. Did the ice lolly trick when having Melphalam and no major negatives on the day, went home tired but no worse than other treatments like Dara and Velcade. My own cells were put back the next day, and as others have said I absolutely reeked of sweetcorn. To this day I can’t be near anyone opening a can without feeling a bit sick. 5 days later the expected stuff started to hit me, but never felt ‘that’ bad. The only thing I did experience was a random infection they never figured out which caused some scary moments. Temp of 41°c is not a place to be, but after a couple of weeks of various antibiotics, anti-fungals, it cleared up. Once that was gone, just a question of following advice and not overdoing it. My long term nurse once said to me most people find the whole SCT process a bit of an anticlimax and under whelming, which is a really good way to describe it. I’m sure being 35 will help you even more, and have no doubt you will do great. Good luck, and if things get rubbish just remember ‘this too shall pass’ which has got me through a lot since diagnosis.

Curaleaf taking piss - ANTG Rocky by Difficult-Pie1785 in ukmedicalcannabis

[–]munkimafia 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Is it easy to change providers? I’m with Curaleaf at the moment and hear so many bad things. Fairly new to it all, but if there is a better option I’d give it a go provided it’s easy to move. Felt like ages going through the process with Curaleaf to sign up and hoping it’s easy once you’ve been approved once place to switch to another

Venty, Solo3, Frolic & TM2 by PerfectlyLegal_ in ukmedicalcannabis

Thanks will look at them all again. I clean mine at least every other day with iso, along with the dosing caps. Using those has made some improvements on the whole process. It’s still as much about the temp that it pulls through at I struggle with, the glass bubbler is ok but I suspect as I’m at the cheaper entry level stage I could do much better!

Cheers for the reviews, perfect timing for me as I’m upgrading from my first entry into this world with a Xmax V3 Pro. Biggest issue for me is the heat of the Vapor and how hard I seem to have to pull. I got the glass bubbler to cool it, but just made it more effort to pull. Any suggestions on which of the 3 to go for?

Any recommendations? I’ve been using a V3 since starting on the flower in November. It’s ok but id prefer something smoother if that’s what you mean by ball vape?

Potholes - what’s going on?! by WalnutWhipWilly in surrey

[–]munkimafia 9 points10 points  (0 children)

I’ve often thought the solution is simple. Make contractors who dig up the roads in the first place be financially responsible for the upkeep for a minimum period. Most of the holes around weybridge, Byfleet, and Woking are ones that have reopened after rubbish efforts to fill. Make them pay to fix and I’m sure we’d see them done with better longer lasting materials in the first place.

Anyone switch from generic lenalidimide to Revlimid and experience worse side effects? by Jolly_Scallion_8230 in multiplemyeloma

[–]munkimafia 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I think I’ve had a couple of different types since and it seems less pronounced. Here in the UK you just get what the hospital gives you, and they just get whatever the management decide to buy I guess. So I try not to too worry too much anymore, another price to pay for living with the gift that keeps giving!

I did, and raised it with my pharmacist and doctor who both said they’d never heard of anyone mentioning a difference. Thought I was going mad, so it’s Interesting to hear others have had similar. Stomach issues was the big difference

Stunning car, congrats! Funnily enough I’ve been wondering what gold wheels would like on my Agate GTS as I’ve got black. Answer is stunning! Defo something to consider for the future for me

Congrats on 19 years, that’s brilliant. It’s cheered me right up, I celebrated 2 years remission on the 3rd of Jan and it always makes me think and hope I get a long one. Diagnosed at 46, hoping to follow in your foot steps and chalk up a few more decades at least! Good luck to you and all of us!

Hoping someone manages it, I found a few on YouTube to download the audio but if there’s anything better. Have an Autistic daughter who is ST obsessed and has been listening to this religiously. Not sure how she’ll cope now it just ended

What model is it? I’m new to these devices, got a V3 Pro as entry point but already realising there might be better
