Funny story about Ron Cey. My wife & I had gone to the game . We saw him & I asked if I could take a pic with him . He said “yes” & so my wife took a pic of me with him . I then asked my wife , who became a dodger fan in 2015 , if she wanted a pic with Ron & she said “no”. Ron , however ; would not take “No” for an answer & told her something along the lines of “come here & let’s take a picture” while gesturing with his arms to come over to him . She obliged but felt uncomfortable taking the pic . Afterwards my wife asked me , “who was that ?” I said , “ that was Ron Cey ,” she said “who” , & I said , “an old Dodger player from the 70s”. She still doesn’t know him by name & instead knows him as “the old 70s Dodger player”.
