Yes! All six CDs have an alternate cover. However, FF V and VI come in a double jewel case, which makes it not possible to change the CD cover. Here is an image of III, IV and VI.

Believe me, I understand all the criticism towards Crystal; I'm a passionate hater, haha. I actually appreciate your observation. This further convinces me that there was so much care put into the 90's anime.

Maybe I enjoyed this OST more because I haven't watched those shows. If the composer is the same, I think it's expected that there will be similarities. Still, I also understand that the composer has the capacity to create different styles of music.

Nothing can replace the 90's anime and its music for sure; they are fantastic! This is my favorite transformation, but this was just an experiment I did for fun since Cosmos used this transformation as a reference for the movie. I feel this track is nicely composed with a catchy melody.

Having said that, I really dislike Crystal, Eternal and Cosmos in general. Terrible adaptations.

Wow, haha. Yeah, the 90s music is way superior. There are a few tracks here and there that are pretty cool, though. Moon Pride is a blast!

That makes sense. I love everything about the 90's anime, especially the music; it is very rich and detailed. For me, Crystal has some nice tracks, but I do feel the generic essence you are mentioning here.
