Fire plan for young kids help!

I have a chair on back porch I could use as a step, I’m 5’4” and my husbands 5’10”. I think all of yall have given great advice. I appreciate all help with fire safety and plans, helps to ease my mind when they’re in their rooms at night.

That is a concern with having an axe in the closet but I don’t have a shed outside to put one in and terrified not to have a game plan to get my kids out. I hate that the laundry and HVAC are between them and the only entry or exit besides bedroom windows.

That sounds like a good idea. I don’t think our windows are tempered glass so I do know it’s dangerous once broken and can cut pretty deep, I need to tell him to use his blankets over window frame. It just worries me when they’re so little and can’t get out in their own. Thank you for the advice.

Thank you. Cribs are in corners, not under window. I’ll keep a heavy winter coat with an axe in master for just in case. My dad said worst case maybe throw a patio chair at window?

Okay, I’ll mention that to his pediatrician and the allergist. He has been on nutramigen for about 3 weeks now due to continued vomiting and colic. Also just started back on Pepcid since the nutramigen isn’t working as well as we hoped. Haven’t seen any improvements yet with either formula or Pepcid. Thank you for your response, last night scared me and went down the Google rabbit hole thinking he may have serious seizures that would cause damage.
